Financial information

Kumburgaz Marin Princess (5-star hotel)


• Double room: 95 € per person per night
• Single room: 150 € per person per night

Prices include airport pickup and drop off, local transportation, full board and accommodation.
Accommodation expenses are paid to the Organizing Committee of Turkish Wushu Federation on or
before Final Entry Forms deadline (24 November 2023).

WKFE participation fees – to be paid to WKFE bank account on or before Final Entry Forms deadline
(24 November 2023).

• Change of the category of an athlete: 50 €

WKFE Support

• NFs who intend to apply with 5 or less competitors for the EC will be eligible to free
accommodation for another 2 athletes, if they register on or before 1st November.
• Subject of eligibility is that NFs attend with both one official and one athlete at least in the
preliminary list.
• After filling in the preliminary application list with the intended number of participating
athletes, ( in Excel table attached), NF should address a request to the WKFE Secretariat –
asking for support for additional 2 athletes accommodation at the Championship in Turkey.
• WKFE Secretariat will upon receiving this request, inform NF about the free accomodation for
2 additional athletes, and NF should then send the 2 new names to the WKFE Secretariat

Membership
Only those member federations, which have paid their Wushu Kungfu Federation of Europe (WKFE)
annual membership fees for 2023, will be permitted to participate in the Championships.
The federation applying to join WKFE may be invited to take part in the Championships after their
applications have been accepted by the WKFE the Eligibility of the Athlete.
All athletes and judges (except independent judges invited by the WKFE) must be nationals (or legal
residents with a valid long-term residence permit) of the country they represent or nationals of the
country in which an WKFE-recognized wushu organization is registered.
Those Athletes who have dual citizenship can only represent one (1) country/ region in the
championships.

Participation method
- Each team may at most enter two (2) athletes per same event in Taolu and two (2) athletes
per same weight category in Tuishou.
- In Sanda and Light Sanda: Each athlete may enter at maximum one (1) weight division for
either Sanda OR one (1) weight division for Light Sanda.
- In Taolu: Each athlete may at most enter four (4) competition events: one (1) bare-handed
routine + two (2) weapon routines + one (1) duilian OR o two (2) bare-handed routines + one
(1) weapon routine + one (1) duilian
- Each athelete may enter 2 disciplines (Taolu + Tuishou or Taolu+ Light Sanda or Light
Sanda+Tuishou) except combination of Light Sanda and Sanda where he/she must choose one
of those
- If there are less than 3 athletes per category/event, WKFE reserves the right to group
accordingly other divisions.

Competition methods

Competition Rules and Judging Methods


Traditional Taolu: Unless otherwise stated within these regulations, the competition will be
conducted in accordance with the 2019 IWUF “Traditional Wushu Competition Rules and Judging
Methods (Trial)”. The Rules and Methods may be interpreted solely at the discretion of the IWUF. In
the event of language discrepancies in the “Rules” and “Methods”, the English version shall prevail
Sanda: IWUF Wushu Sanda Competition Rules & Judging Methods (2017)
Light Sanda - WKFE rules attached
Tuishou - WKFE rules attached
Allowed forms and categorizing of forms
There will not be any specific forms or movements forbidden or disallowed on the competition. The
performances will be judged based on the content and the skill of the performer according to the
rules.
Event time limits
- Hand and weapon routines (except Taijiquan-type Events) from 1 minutes – 1 minutes 20
seconds
- Taijiquan-type Events – 3-4 minutes
- Duilian routine – 50 seconds

Music
There will be no accompanying music allowed.

Attire & Equipment Requirements

Uniforms Requirements for Competition


All athletes shall wear wushu competition uniforms in compliance with the rules during all events. All
athletes must provide their own uniform.
Equipment Requirements
All weapons must conform to the requirements as stipulated in the Rules. All athletes must provide
their own weaponry.

Placing & Awards

There shall be separate awarding for all events. All top three winners shall receive a medal and a
diploma.

Registration

Preliminary Entry Forms


Are to be sent to the Organizing Committee no later than Wednesday, 1 November 2023 to the email
addresses: office@wkfe.org; petar.dragoev@gmail.com; and bekir@istifsbi.com

Final Entry Forms


Are to be made within the registration application (which link will be sent to everyone shortly) no
later than Friday, 24 November 2023
Doping Control
Doping control will be conducted during the ETWC in accordance with the requirements of the
International Olympic Committee (IOC) and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and will follow the
procedure prescribed in the latest IWUF Anti-Doping Rules.

Additional information
• All participants (team leaders, coaches, athletes, judges, doctors, observers) will present upon
registration a signed waiver of liabilities (model attached).
• All athletes will present upon registration their passport, medical certificate (model attached)
issued no later than 30 days before the competition.
• National flags and anthems will be provided by the organizing committee.
