ASSET (Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing)
Dear Parent,
Greetings!
ASSET (Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing) is a skill-based test that
measures students' conceptual understanding. The UAE Educational Authorities have mandated
Asian curriculum schools to continue to take ASSET as a required assessment, as per the National
Agenda. It is mandatory for all the students from grade 3 to 9 to participate in this external
benchmark assessment.
HOW DOES YOUR CHILD BENEFIT FROM TAKING ASSET?
1. After the ASSET test, every student will receive a personalized comprehensive view of his/her
performance along with detailed insights on his/her strengths and areas that need improvement.
2. Each student will also get benchmarked with his/her peers across the country and internationally,
to help them understand where they stand.
3. Students from Grade 5 to 8 achieving scores of 85th percentile and above automatically
qualify to participate in the prestigious ASSET Talent Search, a “by invitation only” event

4. Students also get the chance to win several awards for their ASSET performance. ASSET
Subject topper, UAE National topper and GCC Topper awards are some of the recognitions
that they can aim for.

ASSET papers are designed to test the understanding of a concept in an interesting manner.
Students may visit www.aqad.in to sign up to receive their grade appropriate questions to
familiarize themselves with the type of questions asked in Asset. Students have been regularly
practicing skill-based, real-life application and critical thinking questions in class. The Scholastic
Skills performance of the students will be considered for the final examination.
Asset exam will be conducted on the following dates during school working hours.
Exam duration is 70 minutes per paper.
