The objectives of this study were as follows:

• To examine the relationship between parental involvement and student behavior outcomes.
• To identify the factors influencing parental involvement in student behavior.
• To evaluate the effectiveness of interventions promoting parental involvement in improving
student outcomes.

Statement of the Problem:

The study aims to identify effective strategies for promoting parental involvement and
improving student behavior and academic performance. The research aims address the
following questions:

• What is the effect of parental involvement on student behavior and academic performance in
low-income families?
• What are the barriers to parental involvement in improving student outcomes, and can they
be addressed?
• What are the most effective strategies for promoting parental involvement in

Scope and Delimitation:

The study will look at a variety of student behaviors, including behavior in the classroom,
attendance, social interactions, and disciplinary matters. The goal of this thorough approach is
to present a comprehensive knowledge of the ways in which parental participation affects
various facets of student behavior. The study will cover a wide range of parental involvement,
such as involvement in extracurricular activities, communication with instructors, attendance at
school functions, and academic engagement
