Tuition fees can vary based on

students. It's essential for educational
institutions to regularly review and
assess their fee structures to ensure
they remain fair and aligned with their
educational mission. Students and their
families should also explore available
financial aid opportunities to make
informed decisions about their
education.
However, generally speaking, the
cost of tuition at University of Batangas
is a significant consideration for
students and their families when
choosing a university. As of this year
2023, as a student here in University of
Batangas since 2013 the increase of
tuition fee is visible. If you compare the
tuition fee of University of Batangas to
other institutions it is evident how costly
it is.
course you may take. But as you look
deeper on the registration form of a
student, you can see some insignificant
and inexplicable Assessment fees. One
of these is Laboratory fees for Computer
Laboratories. As an education student
we don’t use computers and go to
laboratories anymore. Instead we bring
our own laptop for u to use. It is unfair
for us to pay for something we don't
benefit from. Personally, I pay 2,484.00
pesos for computer laboratories in my
26,537.00 tuition fee. In addition there
are some categories under Other Fees
that are not worth it and they are: (1)
PRISAA (138.00) don't give a benefit to
a normal student like me. It will just
benefit the players and the school. It
may be the source of the fun of this
University. But it should be taken care of
by the school itself; (2) Scout fee (10.00)
We don’t do scouts anymore. Some of
the students don't prioritize scouting
most especially in 4th year. Students
who want to join in scut must pay and
have a budget for themselves; (3)
Advocate (439.00) this fee is
unbelievable. If this institution wants to
advocate for something or even the
students want to advocate they must be
the one who handles the financial plan
and the institution itself; (4)
Psychological Testing Fee (542.00) This
fee is too much for each student. If each
student needs to pay for 542.00 it will be
a lot for just an online seminar and a
survey about “how are you” for a
psychological testing fee; (5) and
Communication fee (301.00). It is quite
questionable why students need to pay
a communication fee even though
communication is required in doing
something and doing everything. The
communication of a student and the
institution is required and it is a skill that
doesn't need to be paid. These are
unreasonable for their cost with a total
of 1,430. If this will be removed the total
assessed tuition of a regular education
student in 4th year of Major in English
will be 25,107.00.

Despite that, the tuition fee

excluding Assessment fees is
reasonable and evident. It is because
the quality of teaching and attitude of
the teachers deserve high salary and
commendation. As well as the
employees and staff of University of
Batangas who’s very friendly and rule
centered. There is no any question for
the tuition fee itself (excluding
assessment fees) because the quality
education is extremely provided and no
doubt at all.
