What did you think of the book? Would you recommend it? Why / Why not?
I think the book was quite fun, though the invisible man wasn’t the nicest of people I still kinda
sympathized with him cause his father committed suicide. I would recommend this book cause it is
action packed and that’s cool.
Brief summary of the book (be sure to tell the beginning, middle and end of the story)
A stranger arrives at the town of Iping, he’s quite private and doesn’t like people. He really hates his
inn owners. After only a short time the villagers accuse him of robbery, and he snaps he takes off his
clothes which would be public indecency if he wasn’t invisible. He runs far and wide and finds a
homeless guy called Marvel. Marvel helps the stranger return to Iping but they notice him somehow
and chaos ensues. The invisible man beats them up and gives his sidekick (Marvel) some money for
safekeeping. Marvel runs off with the money (what a great friend) and the invisible man went to his
college friend called Kemp. We learn that The IM’s name is Griffin, and he explains that when he was
younger his father committed suicide. Kemp called the police and the villagers followed him. They
ganged up on him and they kill him.
