Introduction
ALVO INTEGRA is a control system which enable integration of medical equipment and devices in the
operating room.
Equipment and devices can be controlled wirelessly via the touch panel, which shows, in the most simple
and clean way, the devices to be controlled. The system allows the transmission and distribution of video
signal, and its architecture provides the ability to be expanded according to the customers’ expectations.

The ALVO Integra was developed primarily for use in medical environments. Your new ALVO Integra
control panel is a LCD monitor with buil-in computer module for integration in operating room wall
systems specifically developed for medical applications. The ALVO Integra may only be used in the medical
environment while maintaining compliance with the specified connection settings and parameters.
Modifications to the ALVO Integra are not allowed without specific authorisation by Alvo. Any damage
resulting from such modifications is not the responsibility of the manufacturer. This LCD monitor for

Operation
This allows the user to work under optimal ergonomic conditions. All device settings can be configured
using the touch control buttons (COMMAND BAR) integrated in the glass screen. The COMMAND BAR
allows the device surface to be easily cleaned and disinfected. The device is equipped with a power switch
for connection to/disconnection from the power supply. The device is equipped with a PC standby button
to shut down the device’s operating system, or to put the device in sleep mode or power saving mode,
depending on the configuration. The device may only be operated by medical staff that have been trained
on device requirements. Users must carefully read the user manual and be familiar with how the device
functions. Furthermore, users must be trained in all of the applications installed on the ALVO Integra.
ALVO Integra systems are specifically designed for the stringent cleaning requirements of the surgical
environment. The front elements and surfaces are easy to clean and disinfect. Individual protection classes
are available depending on the situation in which the ALVO Integra is installed. The device must not be
used in potentially explosive environments. 1.2 Responsibilities of the operator and personnel The safety
of staff and of the ALVO Integra control panel depends on compliance with safety regulations. Observe the
following safety instructions.

Personal safety
• The ALVO Integra may only be operated by trained users and technicians.
• The ALVO Integra may only be installed and serviced by technicians. Because the device is very heavy, at
least two technicians are required to install it.
• Personnel should be trained to use all the applications installed on the ALVO Integra.
• Only operate the ALVO Integra when it is in perfect working condition. If the behaviour of the device
changes, inspect it immediately for any malfunction.
• Make sure all safety and warning labels on the ALVO Integra are completely intact and easily rea
• Only operate and store the ALVO Integra in closed rooms that are protected from the weather.

The video tab allows manage audio/video streams, and control the camera at the operating room.
With this function is possible to visualize the status of the medical gases. The system detects the high level
(high pressure in the system) and the low level of gases (low pressure system). Each extreme status, is
indicated by a beep and displayed on the control panel.
Media
MP3 Player
Provides playback MP3 files on the computer or external media connected to the computer.
Control functions of MP3 player are realized through the following icons

The screen shows the displayed screen after pressing the icon of a catalog of sounds. From the position of
this window, the user has access to media files placed on the computer or removable media connected to
the computer.

Routing Audio
Audio Routing tab, allows to manage streams audio - audio transmission from any source to any speaker
system hooked into the system (picture 18).
The list of available speakers in the speakers table - user can select the active sound system (picture 19)
When the user click on the symbol of the source and re-click on the speaker system, the selected source
will be heard on the selected speaker system.
Turn off the sound is done by shifting active speaker on the audio source.

Devices
The "Device" allows to manage and control devices located in the operating room, such as general lighting,
operating lights, operating tables, doors, blinds, cameras, and air conditioning.
Lighting
Screen responsible for lighting - enables control of operating lamps and general lighting (pic 21).

Operating table control option allows you to control the various movements of the table from the touch

-Routing
With one click, user can shift the video from any source to any monitor hooked to the system. Picture 25
shows the routing tab.

Video Conferencing tab allows streaming audio and video from a distance, it is a module that allows communication
with a remote audience. This tab is divided into 3 parts: Share, Display conferences and Users.
Share table contains a source that user can upload to screen of the conference (picture 29).

Camera movement - up
ALVO Integra system is equipped with a digital clock that all the time displays the current time. It is
possible to attach up to three timers that measure the time and the alarm signal up after a pre-set time
(pic. 32 and 33)
