A dislocation is the medical term for bones in one of your joints being pushed out of their
usual place. They can affect any joint in your body. Dislocations almost always happen
during traumas or sports injuries. Never try to push or force a dislocated joint back into
place on your own.
Jannah : Kailangan natin itong immobilize yung joint in a proper position. Don’t worry, Brylle.
Juna: Pwede na ito?
Migs: Punta na agad tayo sa hospital upang para maipacheck na natin yan’
(pumunta sa ospital)
Shan: Hello! I'm Nurse Shan . How are you feeling today?
Shan: I'm sorry to hear that. I'm here to help. We're going to start by taking an X-ray of your
knee. It will help us see the extent ng injury. I'll do my best to make you as comfortable as
possible during the process. Is that okay with you?
Brylle: Yes, please. Gusto ko lang po malaman what’s wrong with it.
Shan: I'll help you position your leg for the X-ray. I know it might be painful, so we'll take it
slow.
Brylle: Okay.
Shan: You did a great job. We'll get these images to the doctor, who will be able to provide
more information about your injury. In the meantime, we'll do everything we can to manage your
pain and make you more comfortable. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let me
know.
Rophine: taking an X-ray is a crucial step in the assessment and management of injuries. It
provides essential information that forms the basis for accurate diagnoses and tailored
treatment plans, ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes.
Brylle: habang naglalaro football, nadapa po ako at nadislocate, buti may tumulong sakin at treat
agad ung injury ko.
Doc: Pag naglalaro talaga tayo, kailangan tlaga natin mag-ingat. So yung recovery time ng knee
niyo is 6 - 8 weeks, kita naman dito sa xray na di naman masyado malala so you don’t need na
magpasurgery, sa mga ganitong cases the knee will go to its natural place naman.
Brylle: 17 po
Doc: Ah kaya pala, so ung dislocation is most common sa age group 16 - 25, tas it more likely
happens to males rather than females
Doc: Common places for dislocation are shoulders and fingers, but can also occur in elbows, hips,
and knees which is ung sayo.
Matt: If your knee is fully healed, a way to prevent dislocation is maintaining muscle strength and
flexibility and after an intensive workout you should always rest after in order to give your body
time to recover
By also taking vitamins rich and calcium and d3 in order for our bones to be healthy and strong.
Doc: For ngayon bibigyan kita ng anti-inflammatory pill para sa sakit ng knee niyo, at i
recommend na magpaphysical therapy kayo, in order for the knee to strengthen the area again.
Habang nasa bahay magpahinga na lang muna kayo after 1 - 2 weeks medyo makakalakad na
kayo, tas i-ice niyo 3x para hindi masyado mamaga at bawasan ang pain.
