and the general aviation industry under liquid and gaseous conditions, this sensing device exceeds stringent
US military specifications for response time, burst pressure, and AC high potential tests. A compact and
lightweight nickel sensor, this device is best applied to temperature measurements of gearbox oil, fuel
and hydraulic (low pressure) fluids. Ideal for limited clearance applications. This sensor responds rapidly
to temperature changes and has minimal stem conduction error when considering its compact dimensions.
Features include: fast response, hermetic seal, tip, compact housing, single element, NBS traceable
calibration, integral connector, 2-wire element.
Model 101-00114. A new, robust designed temperature sensor for measuring cooling oil on the
Integrated Drive and Variable Speed Constant Frequency Generators. This new sensor was developed in
concert with Boeing to provide greatly improved service life, lower support costand be completely inter-
changeable with the original P/N 42TC12-2 sensor. Our sensor's lead assembly was robustly designed to
reduce pre-load on sensor leads. This allows the sensor to accept installation induced twist stress in the
high vibration environment of the engine gear box. Our normal manufacturing processes including laser
welding major metal assemblies and TIG welding all lead connections further enhance the sensor’s
reliability. Laser and TIG welding improve overall strength.
