Director of Orchestras, Farmington Public Schools, Farmington, CT Aug 2021 - Present
Teaching 9th through 12th grade orchestra students in four ensembles. Mentoring
and coaching chamber ensembles. Collaborating with school counselors and
specialists to provide effective and ideal instruction to all students.
Music Director & Assistant Camp Director, Kate’s Camp for Kids, Old Saybrook, CT July 2016 - Present
Working with students ages 5-13 years old to create, rehearse and perform pre-written
and original songs for a weekly showcase. Assisting the camp director in supervising
and evaluation of staff as well as ensuring staff is actively engaging all campers in daily
activities. Collaborating with art, dance and theater teachers to facilitate weekly
showcases.
Instructor, Community Music School, Centerbrook, CT April 2022 - Present
Teaching 10 private violin students, ages 5-28 and adjusting instruction to serve each
musician’s needs and goals for private instruction. Additionally, teaching weekly
mixed age Music Together classes for families with children aged 0-5 where families
sing, dance, and play to support the child’s musical development.

⬧ Awarded a $2,300 grant from the Farmington Public Schools Foundation to purchase materials for a Unified Music
program at Farmington High School.
⬧ Presented a session titled “Acclimating to a New School: Shared Experiences from Teachers New to the Profession and
New to a Building” at the 2023 CMEA In-Service Conference in Hartford, CT.
