Cranberry Conserve

developed by Jane Diane Ricciardi

A Thanksgiving tradition in the Ricciardi household.

Yields: 14 servings Prep Time: 10 minutes

Serving: 1/2 cup Cook Time: 20 minutes

1. Place in large saucepan and boil for 10 minutes,


stirring frequently.
1 pound cranberries

⁄2 cup apple liqueur, such as Apple Jack

⁄2 cup molasses

⁄4 cup sugar
1 8-ounce can of pineapple chunks, drained

2. Reduce heat. Add in and simmer for ten minutes.

⁄8 cup chopped walnuts

⁄2 cup raisins
1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in water

⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon

⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg

⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves

3. Fold in.
1 11-ounce can mandarin oranges, drained

4. Enjoy hot or cold with turkey or chicken.
