Dear Sir,

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Govt. of India, published its annual report 2022-23 with Road
accident statistics. Total number of road accidents reported was 4,12,432 in the year 2021. Looking into the
magnitude and gravity of the problems in road safety, there is a need for the society at large to take
cognizance of the issue and to join hands to make road safety a social movement. Accordingly, the
National Safety Council (NSC), the national level organization working in the field of Safety, Health and
Environment, appeal its members and patrons to observe 35th National Road Safety M on th - 2024 in
the month of January 2024 by undertaking various activities for promoting the road safety. To observe the
week effectively, NSC is bringing out the following promotional materials with topical message on Road
Safety.

1. Badge: Printed in multicolour on art paper in English on one side and Hindi on other.
2. Cloth Banner: Printed in multicolour (Available in English & Hindi).
3. Posters: Varieties on Road Safety topics (Available in English & Hindi).
4. Utility Items: Key Chain, Cap, Reflective Jacket, Water Bottle, First Aid Kit, T-Shirt.

1. GENERAL :
a) The order once placed cannot be cancelled.

b) The dispatch of material will start in 1 week of January 2024 and the orders would be executed on `First-Come-
First-Served‟ basis.
c) Any complaint regarding non-receipt/short supply of the materials would be made within a month from the date of
dispatch of materials. Also complaint of receipt of damaged material should be informed immediately along with
proof of evidence & its receipt of copy of Invoice/Delivery Challan along the material. Complaints received thereafter
will not be entertained.
d) Last date for receipt of orders with full advance payment is 30th December, 2023. Orders received thereafter may
be executed subject to availability of material.
e) Complaints for late order receipts of material will not be entertained for orders received after 30th December, 2023.
f) No Late Delivery (LD) charges will be applicable for the orders received after 30th December, 2023.
g) The colours of the utility gift articles may vary from the Photo Catalogue depending on the availability of raw
materials.

2. PAYMENT, DISCOUNT & TAXES:

i) Payment:
a) Orders would be executed only after receipt of payment.
Order must be accompanied with full advance payment and applicable GST by Demand Draft or At Par Cheque
drawn in favour of “National Safety Council” payable at Mumbai. Payment will also be accepted by EFT/RTGS/
UPI in such case details of the payment made must be submitted along with the Order Form or to be sent to NSC
by email (safetypromotion@nsc.org.in). Orders will only be executed after receipt of full payment. Our Bank

c) In case of receipt of less/excess payment, the quantity of the material ordered will be adjusted accordingly.

iii) Taxes :
a) If the Octroi is applicable in your area it will be borne by you.
b) GST will be applicable as per the GST rates mentioned in the „Catalogue of Material‟ and „Order Form‟.
c) If the organisation is locating under SEZ area and exempted from GST then provide the SEZ certificate along with
the order. If the SEZ certificate not provided along with the order GST will be applicable and will be paid by you.
d) If TDS is deducted, the TDS certificate should be sent within a period of one month from the end of the month
during which the credit has been given or the payment has been made. Council‟s PAN No.AAATN3069N.
3. MODE OF DESPATCH & POSTAGE :
a) All rates are inclusive of packing and forwarding charges.
b) The material will be sent by surface mode through our official courier i.e. Blue Dart, TCI XPS and Professional
Couriers and if their services are not available in your region it would be send by Registered Post.
c) Bulk or voluminous orders would be despatched through road transport.

4. PRINTING OF COMPANY’S NAME & LOGO :

a) Company‟s name & logo would be screen printed free of cost in one colour on cap, if the order is for minimum 800 Nos.
b) In case Company‟s name & logo is to be printed in more than one colour, Rs.1,000/- per colour would be charged extra
for additional colour.
c) Company‟s name & Logo should be sent along with the order (preferably a soft copy in JPEG format).
