My Reflection in Teaching Mathematics in Primary Grades :

As a person who does not find numbers and arithmetic fun, it was a huge challenge for me to sink in all
the information during class discussions. Math is something I do not find interesting. I often define Math
as mental abuse to humans because I really cannot connect the importance of this subject to everyday
life. As I went higher level, concepts are also getting more complicated and harder. Problem-solving
requires deep analysis and concentration. That was when I realized that there is more magic that this
subject could provide. I am so amazed by how formulas can be used to solve problems like magic. As
long as you properly understand the pattern, you will not get lost. My teacher was one of the most
patient instructors I have ever encountered. She always makes sure that we understand everything
before releasing our quizzes and exams from that day on, I fell in love with this subject already so that I
can say this subject is not difficult but challenging.
