Emirates National Auto Museum


The Emirates National Auto Museum, located 45 kilometers south of Abu Dhabi,
showcases over 200 classic and unique automobiles from around the world. The
museum features the world's largest mobile house, a replica of Jabba the Hutt's
castle on wheels, and a collection of antique automobiles, from early American
models to modern Italian and German models. The museum also features classic
American automobiles, off-road vehicles, and the world's largest truck. Notable
exhibits include a World War II Willys Jeep and the world's largest two-wheeler
van, created by the Abu Dhabi royal family in 1990. The museum also features
racing cars, limos from the 1950s and 1970s, and other rare examples of
automotive design. Daily from 9 am to 6 pm, the museum welcomes visitors. A
special, educational experience is provided by Captain Dunes' tour service, which
explains the history and importance of the exhibits.

Sheikh Hamad’s private collection of more than 200 cars


Sheikh Hamad has a private collection of more than 200 cars. Many of them have a rainbow design on them and are believed to have been used by his father more
than four decades ago. Many of these exotic vehicles are worth more than a million dollars. His collection also includes vintage Mini Coopers, an 1885 Benz Patent
Motorwagen, and several Lamborghini SUVs.

One of the reasons Sheikh Hamad decided to handover power to his son was to ensure a smooth succession. He was appointed the emir’s cabinet and took charge of
day-to-day affairs in Qatar. However, Hamad and his father fell out in the early 1990s. Hamad’s father tried to regain control of the economy, but Sheikh Hamad
overthrew him in a bloodless coup and he took over the country in 1996.

Sheikh Hamad’s earth-shaped motor home


If you love vintage cars and custom-built vehicles, you can’t miss Sheikh Hamad’s world-famous auto collection at the Emirates National Auto Museum. You’ll see
everything from an earth-shaped motor home to a Mercedes monster truck. The museum also houses the world’s largest mobile home, which is reminiscent of
Jabba’s ying palace from the movie Return of the Jedi.

The Sheikh Hamad Museum is located 45km south of Abu Dhabi city, and it features an incredible collection of off-road vehicles. The museum is open daily from 9am
to 6pm, and visitors can take a tour of the collection. Highlights include the World’s largest truck, a replica of the Dodge Power Wagon, and a 6.5-metre-tall replica of a
Willys Jeep.

This museum has a huge collection of vehicles. From the very rst car made in 1886 to the most modern jeep wrangler secured on a Ford recovery chassis, the
museum is a place to discover a wide range of vehicles. The museum is open to the public, and admission is free for children under ten years old.

Largest two-wheeled ve-Storey caravan


At the Emirates National Auto Museum in Abu Dhabi, you can nd the world’s largest two-wheeled ve-storey van, which was built in 1990 by the Abu Dhabi royal. Listed
in the Guinness World Records, the vehicle has eight bedrooms, four garages and a 24,000-litre water storage capacity. The museum is also home to seven Mercedes
Benz 500 SELs and a giant replica of the Dodge Power Wagon.

Visitors will nd racing cars and limousines from the 1950s and 1970s, as well as a giant Willy Jeep that holds a Guinness World Record for the largest two-wheeled car.
The museum is right off the highway and can be reached by car or taxi. It is also accessible by metro.
