A. Each leader shall be required to have a personal experience of salvation
through the Lord Jesus Christ, to feel definitely that he is called to work in the church, and to be willing to accept all the responsibilities of his office. Each duly appointed/elected leader must be baptized in the Holy Spirit or be an earnest seeker thereof, and must be a member of the church. B. It shall be expected that each leader rigidly conform to the church policy of separation, avoiding any conduct unbecoming to Spirit-filled life. C. Each leader is expected to discharge faithfully the responsibilities of his office, ever with the end in view of the salvation of souls and the up building of the saints. He is to be on time, give proper notice in case of necessary absence and reflect Christian concern for those whom he leads. D. Each leader shall be expected to attend any meeting or conference pertaining to his particular office. It is essential to meet periodically to discuss the great work to which the Lord has called us and to discover further ways and means of advancement. There should be such a burden for souls that none will allow anything to interfere with these important meetings. E. Each leader should regularly attend all the Sunday services and the midweek service of prayer, praise and Bible Study. All devoted Christians attend these services, especially those who by virtue of their position as leaders are an example of the believers. F. Each leader must be on harmony with and subscribed to the Declaration of Faith of the Foursquare Church. G. For the sake of utmost harmony, each leader is urged to endeavor to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace and to this end, accept decisions made by the church council in consultation with the church leadership. H. Each leader should be a consistent soul-winner, knowing how and having a great desire to bring the lost to the Savior. To accomplish this end, his life must be pure. It is not enough to teach the Word, but he must live it. I. All leaders are required to avail themselves of any training courses offered to help them in their place of responsibility. J. All appointments shall be for a term not to exceed one year, except as provided by the By-laws.
