GOODBYE MISTER GYGAX

(July 27th, 1938 – March 4th, 2008)

I was saddened to learn about M. Gary Gygax passing away. Seems that he ran out of hit points at
level 69 while failing his last Saving Throw vs Death. But the game ain’t over.

I know this is Talisman and not D&D, but to many of us, Gary Gygax was the father of Role Playing
Games and to even more many of us, the person who directly or not gave us a reason to play games,
including Talisman.

I believe many people owe him big and many of us would like to say thank you Mister Gygax.

So goodbye Mister Gygax, God Bless You and thank you very much. You will be missed. It sure was
*dice roll* a pleasure meeting you!

As for the expansion, I wanted to design cards which would recreate the creativity of Gary Gygax by
opening gates to many worlds of fantasy, by granting powers over fate (no more fumble!) and of
course, as we all know, the Master is always right, he rolls the damn dice!
