(Q6) A boat covers a distance of 40 km in 5 hours in

upstream. If the Upstream speed of the boat is 6 km/hr
less than the downstream speed, then find the time (in
hrs. ) taken by the boat to cover 66 km in still water.

(Q8) A certain distance covered on bike with a speed of

15 km/hr. If the speed of the bike is increased by 20%,
then it covers same distance in 2 hours less time. Find
the distance covered on bike?
15 ककमी/घंटा की चाल से बाइक पर एक तनजचचत िरू ी तय की
गई। यदि बाइक की चाल 20% बढ़ा िी जाए तो वह वही िरू ी 2

(Q9) A mixture contains milk and water in the ratio 3:1

respectively. If 16 liters of water is added, then the ratio
of milk to water in resultant mixture becomes 5: 7. Find
the initial quantity of mixture (in liters).
