Malawi College of Accountancy is pleased to inform Parents, Guardians, Employers, Business

People and School Leavers that they will be launching a Bachelor Degree in Applied
Accounting: Auditing & Information Systems.
The Programme
The Bachelor Degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship is an undergraduate
Degree that aims to equip candidates with Accounting, Auditing and Information Systems
Skills that can be applied in a Global context.
The Programme aims to develop the student’s Accounting and Finance Skills, Auditing and
Investigative Competences and Information Systems Capabilities through a blending of
Industry-based practical situations, class teachings and state-of-the-art interactive lessons.
The programme is aimed at enhancing Continuous Professional Development and preparing
students for further studies not only in Accounting BUT also Auditing, Information Systems
Auditing and Assurance among other areas of specialization.
Duration
The Course Duration is for 4 (Four) Years
Who is the Programme for?
 Individuals who wish to acquire Auditing as well as Information Systems Audit Skills
 Auditors who want to sharpen their Information Systems Audit and Forensic Audit
Skills
 Entrepreneurs wishing to start their Audit Businesses
Admission Requirements
The applicants for admission into the undergraduate program will be subject to screening
program on the academic achievement obtained at the secondary school level as follows:
i) A Full MSCE with at most 6 credits including: Mathematics, English and any two
Business studies or Science subjects.
ii) GCSE –A –Level, One A level pass
iii) Mature Entry - MSCE plus a 2 years proven work experience in a Business
Environment.
