Test Method:
The test on the submitted paint sample was conduct at exposure in 60ºC temperature by using the test
method as outlined in BS 6920-1:2014 for the following clause:
Test Procedure:
The paint coated sample panels were submerged in a drinking water purchased from a local market and
the above tests were carryout on 24 hours exposed water @ 60ºC. Further a control test on unexposed
water at same condition was also conducted. All the above tests were analyze by using AWWA (2017)
test method.

Remarks:
The dissolved oxygen difference (MDOD) is within the acceptable limits of BS 6920: Part 1-2.4,
Clause 6 standard (MDOD = Max 2.39 mg/lit). The microbiological test shows that the exposed
and unexposed water samples are free from any pathogenic bacteria indicates the above tests
meet the requirement.

Based on the above test results we may regard that the submitted AMERCOAT 391 PC can be used up to
60ºC temperature and will not effect the drinking water quality.
