The first table contains the chronological timeline order to watch the MCU based primarily on the
Disney+ timeline, with some additional details pulled from the Marvel Fandom Wiki.
1. Title of the Entry: TV shows and One Shots have been indented to make them stand apart from
the movies. The Avengers movies have been bolded due to their significance in the timeline.
2. Month in the timeline that each entry occurs: This was derived primarily from the information
on the Marvel Fandom Wiki, as well as clues in the Movies or TV Shows themselves.
3. Year in the timeline that each entry occurs: This was derived primarily from Marvel’s 10-year
Anniversary Timeline and the Disney+ timeline, as well as clues with the Movies or TV Shows.
4. Release Year and Release Order for the entry: This is the year the entry was released in the
theatre or on Disney+ and the order that it was released. For the one-shots, they are given an
(a) after the release order of the movie that they came packaged along with.
There are footnotes indicating when a post credit scene, prologue or epilogue is out of order and should
be watched at a different time. For the most part, these situations don’t create spoilers. However, to
avoid spoilers Captain Marvel, Black Widow, and Ant Man and the Wasp post credits scenes should be
watched only when recommended in the footnotes as noted.
Additionally, there is a table containing info on the Sony movies that are now considered canon in the
multiverse. The Sony movies can be watched at any time, but should be watched sometime prior to No
Way Home.
Enjoy!
