IT’S NOT A LIE IF YOU BELIEVE IT

Deceptive liars (as well as truth tellers) intend to deceive what he says’. In my own opinion it’s true that
‘it’s not a lie if you believe it’, because what if you have the same beliefs in life, in that situation it
depends on the idea of a person basing in his own experience in life, what if it happens in his life that
why he is believing . How can you know that the speaker is lying if you have the same experience or the
same perception on what the speaker is saying.

BALD FACED LIES

- The term bald-faced lie will always refer to a lie that is not intended to deceive. The speaker
does not mind getting caught, rather than that does not intend to deceive. The existence of bald
faced lies indicates that the standard philosophical definition is not an adequate definition of
lying . As a result, some philosophers have defended an alternative definition. The suggest that
you lie if you assert something that you believe to be false. I also agree on the statement of
bald-faced lies that -’ you lie if and only if you say lie’ you still a liar even what you said is a
white lie,

DECEPTIVE LYING

- Deceptive lying is morally objection able because it is an attempt to manipulate by causing them
to acquire false belief and has additional cost. This is what a fake news also do it manipulate
people by sharing fake information’s that can manipulate the readers. Deceptive lying puts an
important source of knowledge at risk fore everyone. The practice of deceptive lying erodes the
trust that the people have in communicative acts. This is when someone tries to create an
impression that causes other to be misled by not telling all the facts or creating a false
impression. This is

B. Give the summary of the article by answering the following question

Lying
- According to the standard philosophical definition of lying, you lie if you say something that you
believe to be false with the intent to deceive about what you say. While the existence of bald-
faced lies shows that this definition is too narrow, it might still be suggested that the standard
philosophical definition captures the type of lie that.

Deception
Faulkner have suggested that deception is wrong because it is an attempt to manipulate people. When
people are deceived (i. e., when they are led to have false beliefs), they often do not make the same
choices that they would have made based on accurate information about the world. Such manipulation
can easily cause people to make choices that are harmful to them and, even if no other harm results, it
still arguably violates their autonomy. As a species of deception, deceptive lying is wrong for the same
reasons. But, as several philosophers have pointed out and as I discuss below, it involves attempting to
manipulate people in a very specific way that is arguably morally and epistemically significant
