 และเนื่องจำกผูป้ ่ วยรำยนี้ตอ้ งเฝ้ำระวังภำวะ severe sepsis จึงควรติดตำม O2sat

• ยำที่สำมำรถคุมเชื้อ gram negative bacilli?

ตอบ ผูป้ ่ วยรำยนี้ ผลตรวจ H/C เป็ น Positive (Gram negative bacilli) จึงควรพิจำรณำยำที่ครอบคลุมเชื้อ Gram
negative bacilli ได้

Gram Negative Bacilli

• E. Coli sp.
• Klebsiella sp.
• Pseudomonas sp.
Empirical coverage if suspecting gram-negative bacilli
Choice should be based on local antimicrobial susceptibility and the severity of disease a fourth-generation
cephalosporin, carbapenem, or b-lactam/b-lactamase combination, with or without an aminoglycoside
✓ Ceftriaxone 2g IV q24h
✓ Ceftazidime 2 gm IV
