Dear Madam Ambassador,

My first application for a UK visa was recently refused and am writing to request your good office to
reconsider my reapplication. As stated in my first application, I am a member of Kammerchor Manila who
will compete at the Choir of the World International Choral Competition in Llangollen, Wales on July 5-8,
2023. After the competition, we will visit London for two days, from July 9 – 11 then leave for Amsterdam,
Netherlands to continue with our European Tour and join two other competitions in mainland Europe as
follows:

• 60th Seghizzi International Choral Singing Competition; Gorizia, Italy: July 20–23, 2023
• 69th Certamen Internacional de Habaneras y Polifonia; Torrevieja, Spain: July 23-29, 2023

The aforementioned competitions are the main reasons of our tour and this is to ensure that my intent in
seeking entry as a visitor is genuine.

I would also like to provide an explanation in relation to the refusal of my first application:

I previously stated that I do not have an income or savings. I felt that I should do so since I had announced
that I am unemployed and thought that having a sponsor would be sufficient to demonstrate my financial
situation - that was my honest error. In this re-application, I have now stated that I generate allowances,
another source of revenue, and savings. I backed up these modifications with the following:

1. In my bank account, I have Php 42,854.76 in savings. The supporting document is my bank
certification, which is included in this application and was also included in my prior application.
To be clear, I get this money through various allowances from my family members.

2. I also have savings on my choir Kammerchor Manila totaling Php 73,026.21 with supporting
documentation from our Treasurer. This savings is available to me in the event that I make a
request to our group's treasurer. Accordingly, I have been a member of Kammerchor Manila since
2017, and I have saved these money from our different concerts, gigs and performances.

In addition to the foregoing, Ms. Mariah Ericka M. Patawaran, a friend and Kammerchor Manila co-
member, has decided to sponsor me on my journey and has offered to help me with Php 75,000.00. In
addition, Ms. Cherry B. Angeles, my mother, has also agreed to be my sponsor for this trip. My mother

pledged an additional Php 60,000.00 as financial assistance for me. I have attached the two (2) notarized
affidavit of supports on this application as a support for my application.

On the other side, I previously mentioned that I am now accommodated by my family, but I failed to offer
financial information for these close family members and how I am supported. Below are the information
of my family members:

My mother, Cherry B. Angeles, who has worked as a Nursing Clerk Staff at Manila Doctors Hospital for
about 20 years, and my sister, Cherrianne A. Ibaez, who also works as a Medical Information Staff at the
same hospital, are financially supporting me. To corroborate this, I have added their proof of income
(payslips) to my financial documentation.

In addition, I am attaching letters from our (1) Parish Priest where our choir performs for liturgical services,
(2) President and Musical Director of Kammerchor Manila, and (3) Parent/Guardian Guarantee to offer
attestation that I will depart the United Kingdom on July 11, 2023.

With all of that stated, I hope everything is finally in order, and I truly apologise for any misunderstanding
that my first application may have created. I guarantee that I will adhere to the trip dates and itinerary
specified in my application. Thus, I respectfully request your reconsideration so that I may be a part of our
group's endeavour to promote and bring pride to our nation. Competing in Choir of the World is a once-
in-a-lifetime chance that I have always dreamt to grab. It is my sincere hope that I will be granted even a
single-entry visa for the duration of the group's stay in the UK, so as to be part of this great venture. I
would greatly appreciate it.
