REV Drill is a revolutionary approach to drilling, uniquely designed to be attached to and easily
removed from any excavator, using the existing excavator hydraulics. REV Drill comes in a variety of
drill lengths and configurations to match up to any excavator.

The ability to remove the drill and allow your excavator to go back to digging in minutes makes REV
Drill truly unique.

The cost of a multipurpose REV Drill is a fraction of the cost of a single function specialty drill rig.
The REV Drill system is self-erecting and easy to mobilise to your job site in one load, which results
in substantially reduced freight costs. In addition, there is no assembly required and the drill arrives
on the job site ready to go. When you have a REV Drill mast on the job, you have the use of two
pieces of equipment at your disposal - a multifunction drill and an excavator.

REV Drill masts can be utilised for many vertical and horizontal drilling applications, including
foundation piers, sound barrier piers, beam retaining walls, auger cast piles, tie-backs, soil nails,
rock drilling, blast hole drilling, helical anchor installation, de-watering, and many more. There is no
limit to REV Drill’s versatile capabilities.

Made in the USA

REV Drill products are manufactured and
assembled in the United States.

Simplified, quality engineering and

manufacturing ensures the REV Drill
system is durable, easy to use and easy
to maintain.

Short Auger
The short auger is bolted onto the end of
the drill’s kelly bar to drill dirt and rock for
jobs where the drilled shafts will stay open
and not collapse.

Casing pipe can be utilised or polymer

slurry can be used when holes will not
remain open.

Typical Jobs:
• Sound wall foundations
• Drilled shafts for foundation piers
• Caissons
• Temporary shoring walls

Anchoring
By removing the drill’s kelly bar and
utilising specialty tooling described
below, many types of anchors can
be installed in both the vertical and
horizontal positions.

tkIF can provide KRUPP drifters,

vibrodrills and rotary heads to
complement this system.

Typical Jobs:
• Tie backs & soil nails – utilising
continuous flight augers,
tri-cone/drag bits, down hole
hammers, helical anchors, or
grouted hollow bars
• Grouted hollow bar anchors,
titan bars, william’s bars, etc.
• Helical anchors
• Micropiles

Down The Hole

By removing the drill’s kelly bar and
utilising down hole hammer tooling,
REV Drill can effectively drill through
the hardest rock formations. With the
use of an external high pressure air
compressor, REV Drill drills rock safely,
with impressive production rates.

LP/cluster drills can be utilised for

larger diameter rock drilling for
increased production rates and
affordability.

Typical Jobs:
• Sound wall foundations
• Drilled shafts for foundation piers
• Caissons
• Temporary shoring walls

Continuous
A continuous flight auger (CFA) can be
utilised to pre drill for pile driving by
drilling through the hard layers in the
upper strata. Pre-drilling is performed
to insure easier, faster pile driving, and
to improve location accuracy when
driving steel, concrete, wood piles, or
sheet piling.

A CFA is also utilised in soft soils and

sands where a conventional, open hole
drilled shaft will not stay open and
collapses, to install what is known as
an auger cast pile. Upon reaching the
desired drill depth, grout or concrete
can be pumped through the hollow
stem auger as the auger is extracted
from the ground to create a continuous,
concrete filled shaft. Reinforcement
bars or rebar cages are often inserted
immediately after the drill is extracted
and the hole is filled.

Vibratory Piling
A hydraulic, vibratory hammer can be
utilised on the REV Drill mast to drive a
variety of piles for many different
applications by removing the rotary
motor and sled from the REV Drill and
installing a vibratory hammer and sled.

tkIF can provide a wide range of Müller

vibratory hammers to complement this
system including variable moment and
vertically stacked hammers.

Typical Jobs:
• Solar installations – driving tubular
pile, h-pile, steel channel, and all
types of solar foundations
• Sheet pile installation

Custom Applications
tkIF and REV Drill’s custom fabrication
team can design and modify drills to
meet your unique job requirements.
Working together with the consulting
and fabrication team, we can review
your job plans and requirements and
work with you to produce the most
economic solution for your job.

Typical Jobs:
• Drill’s mounted on long reach
excavators for difficult to reach
drilling locations
• Multiple drilling heads for line drilling
to speed up rock drilling production
• Small drill’s mounted on mini
excavators or skid steers with slew
drive mounts to access small jobsites
• Custom tooling fabrication
