B’ Tmpgs Sentolo Stratified Limestone Unit : Sentolo Stratified
7 Limestone Unit consist of reef limestone (bindstone) and
stratified clastic limestone (grainstone, packstone). Well
Josutan exposed in South East of study area in fresh and weathered
7 Ngalikan condition. Manganesse occure in cavity of this rock body and
fill the fracture.

Tmpls Sentolo Marl Unit : Sentolo Marl Unit limited exposed in

study area especially in South West. It has greyish to light
brown with silt to clay grain size and carbonat composition.
Related with manganesse (Mn), the geometry occurrence of
(Mn) is lenses or layerlike and vein that derived from erosional
GEOLOGICAL SECTION (A-A’) and mobilization of manganesse from Old Andesite Formation
or Kaligesing volcanic system or calcedony vein.
N 321 E N 141 E Calcedony Vein : Calcedon vein has the reddish in colour, set

in pseudomorf silica with the cavity texture and occasionally
300 300 filled by other silica mineral especially quartz (with sugarry
texture and opal texture) and massive associated with
manganesse (Mn) with the black to silver in colour. It has
200 200 lense, cavity filling and wrap up the body of calcedony vein.
A Well exposed in South West with the NE-SW liniement
orientation.
100 100 Kaligesing Volcanic Breccia Unit : Kaligesing Vulcanic
Tombk
A’ Breccia Unit is well exposed and distributed toward the North
West of study area. This unit consists of volcanic sandstone,
0 0 calcareous volcanic sandstone, tuff, lapilli, conglomerat,
ignimbrite breccia and volcanic breccia as a dominant
GEOLOGICAL SECTION (B-B’) lithology. In volcanic breccia, consist of various rock fragments
N 311 E N 131 E (andecite, basalt, riolit?, tuff and lapilli) sub angular to angular,
pebble to boulder (2-126 cm) size mixed up in vulcanic
material in sand and clay grain size as matrix. Generally, this
100 100 unit has the grey colour in fresh condition and brown in
B B’ weathered condition. Releted with Manganesse (Mn), in this
unit, it sometimes occure mix with residual or lateritic soil with
0 0 black in colour clue, replace the breccia matrix and fill in the
bedding plane of stratified volcanic sandstone.
