non-native English contributors have their papers carefully checked by a native

non-English examples and quotations are followed by translations
footnotes are kept to an absolute minimum
the abstract contains 100-150 words
citations are given in the following style (Name year, first page-last page)
you use only regular and italic formatted text
you avoid any landscape formatted parts (tables)
the paper contains the most essential formal parts (introduction, methods,
hypotheses, main part(s), discussion, conclusion)
tables and figures are numbered separately
pictures have a minimum resolution of 300dpi
