4. Question:
Power system stability analysis has been recognized as an important and
challenging issue for the safe operation of power systems. When major
disturbances occur in interconnected power systems, the security of these power
systems must be checked. Power system security depends on studying the
detailed stability of the system to check and ensure security. One of the goals of a
power system is to provide continuous and reliable electricity to customers.
System stability depends on rotor angle stability, frequency stability and voltage
stability. When the power system becomes unstable, it will lead to serious
systemic incidents, causing heavy economic losses. The problem of instability
can occur over a long or short period of time depending on the level of failure
and the grid structure of that power system. Researching power system stability
will not only help prevent power outages but will also be the basis for making
decisions and strategies on power system design, expansion and operating
methods. This topic focuses on learning about voltage stability assessment.
