APPRECIATING
CREATIONS OF
GOD
Our country, from Luzon,Visayas
and Mindanao, is really blessed with
beautiful and breathtaking natural
resources that attract Filipino and
foreign travelers. Let’s see why
they are a must-visit places.
FROM LUZON
BANAUE RICE TERRACES
•Banaue Rice Terraces in
Northern Luzon created by
the Ifugaos more than 2,00
years ago, they look like
stairways to heaven. It is
designated as UNESCO
World Heritage Site in 1995.
MAYON VOLCANO
•Mayon Volcano in Legaspi,
Albay, known for its perfect
cone shape. It is an active
volcano and the area was
renamed as Mayon Volcano
Natural Park in 2000. Last
eruption of the volcano was
3 years ago.
TAAL VOLCANO
•Taal Volcano in Batangas,
which we can also view from
Tagaytay City. It’s the
smallest volcano in the
Philippines. It’s actually a
volcano island in the middle
of Taal Lake. Last eruption
was January, 2020.
PAGSANJAN FALLS
•where people enjoy the boat
ride towards the falls which
is known as “shoot the
rapids”. It’s also declared as
a National Park in 1939.
These waterfalls also provide
electricity in the area.
MOUNT PULAG
•Considered as Sea of Clouds
in Benguet and the highest
peak in Luzon. It’s very
popular among mountain
climbers and photographers
because of the majestic view
when one reaches the peak.
PUERTO PRINCESA SUBTERRANEAN
RIVER NATIONAL PARK
•also known as Puerto
Princesa Underground River.
It was named as one of the
New Seven Wonders of
Nature in 2012.

VISAYAS
BORACAY ISLAND

•Boracay Island in Aklan has


one of the best beaches in
the world because of its
powdery, white sand beach
and crystal clear water.
CHOCOLATE HILLS

•Chocolate Hills are green


during rainy season and
brown during summer
season. They are around
1,000 cone-shaped or
dome-shaped hills. .
PHILIPPINE TARSIER SANCTUARY
•is a large forest dedicated
to the protection of
tarsiers, which are small
nocturnal primates with
big, round eyes. They
usually cling to low
branches or the trunks of
slim trees.
OSLOB
•Whale Sharks in Oslob is
also a popular place to visit
in Cebu. People can have a
closer look at the whale
sharks.

MINDANAO
MOUNT APO
•highest mountain in the
Philippines.
THE DAVAO CROCODILE PARK
•educates people about the
natural world of the
crocodiles. It also features
other wild animals like
raptors, monkeys, bear cats,
snakes birds and other
reptiles.
SAMAL ISLAND
• or officially called "Island
Garden City of Samal" is a 4th
class component city of the
province of Davao del Norte.
• Its proximity to the city and
its beautiful beaches and other
attractions often make it a top
choice.
CAMIGUIN ISLAND
• is a pear-shaped volcanic
island in the northern tip of
Mindanao.
These are only some of the destinations to see and
experience in the Philippines. They are gifts that we
should treasure. Thank God for this bountiful
goodness that we have been blessed. As a sign of our
gratitude, we have to nurture and protect these gifts
for our use and that of the next generations.
