1. CEILING TRACKS: Ceiling Framing Member
Model 50/50/0.55. The tracks are fixed
through the structural surround using M6 x
55mm long Trubolt Stud Anchors at a nominal
distance of 600mm on center (oc).
2. FLOOR TRACKS: Floor Framing Member
Model 50/32/0.55. The tracks are fixed
through the structural surround using M6 x
30mm long Shure Drive Anchors at a nominal
distance of 600mm oc.

3. VERTICAL STUDS: Vertical Framing Member
Model 48/32-34/6/0.55. The studs are placed
onto the floor track at every 609.5mm oc using
wafer head screws, size M4.2 x 13mm. The
peripheral studs are fixed onto structural
surround using Shure Drive Anchor, size M6 X
30mm (dia x length), at a distance of 50mm
from the edges and at a nominal distance of
600mm oc. The vertical studs are free floating
along the ceiling track and maintain a gap of
18mm for expansion.
4. HORIZONTAL RAILS: Horizontal Framing
Member Model 72/12/0.55. The rails are used
when there are horizontal joints between the
boards and are fixed onto the vertical studs
using Mada wafer head screws, size M4 x
13mm, on both the exposed and the
unexposed faces. The joints are placed at
600mm and 2,448mm from the sill for a
partition of 3,048mm in height.

GYPSUM BOARD: Two layers of 12.5 MADA
Plus Regular Plasterboard or MADA Plus
Moisture Resistant Plasterboard are attached
to each side of the constructed frame, each
being individually fixed. The first layer is fixed
onto framing system using self-drilling screws,
size 25 x 3.5mm (length x dia), spaced at a
nominal distance of 600mm oc and 50mm

from the edges along the perimeter, and
spaced at a nominal distance of 400mm oc
along the field. The outer layer on both the
exposed and unexposed faces are fixed onto
the framing system using self-drilling screws,
size 45 x 3.5mm (length x dia), spaced at a
nominal distance of 300mm oc and 50mm
from edges along the perimeter, and spaced
at a nominal distance of 200mm oc along the
field. Joints between the boards are
staggered with the exposed face joints taped
and filled.
6. INSULATION: (Optional) The cavity created
by the studs may be filled with Rockwool or

Glasswool with min. density of 16 kg/m .
7. JOINT TAPE: 50mm wide fiberglass joint tape
is applied at the meeting edges between the
regular boards only along the outer layer on
both the exposed and unexposed faces.
8. JOINT COMPOUND: MADA multiuse joint
compound is applied above fixing screw heads
on both the inner and outer layers for both the
exposed and unexposed faces. Along the
joints of the outer layer of boards, self-
adhesive fiberglass joint tape is used and
three passes of MADA multiuse regular joint
compound is applied.
9. SEALANT: Fire Guard Sealant from MADA
Gypsum Company is extruded smoothly along
the perimeter meeting edges of the regular
boards and supporting construction, fill gap
vertically and horizontally.
10. BACKING ROD: 10mm diameter polyethylene
rods from MADA Gypsum Company are
extruded smoothly along the perimeter.
