Possible Questions for Part 1

• What do you like doing? What don't you like doing?

• What is it? You see pictures and say what is shown in the pictures.
e.g.

Das sind Häuser.

Das ist eine Brücke.

• Where do you buy these products?

e.g.

Ich kaufe die Wurst in der Metzgerei.

Ich kaufe die Milch im Supermarkt.

Ich kaufe das Brot in der Bäckerei.

• What do you buy? You get a shopping list and must describe what need to buy
(product + quantity).

z.B. Ich kaufe drei Bananen. Ich kaufe 500 g Zucker.

• You describe a way using a city map.

• You tell what you have done (in the perfect tense).

• You are given a calendar and say when the person is doing what (say the time and
date).

• You describe an apartment.

• You are in a restaurant. One partner is the waiter, the other partner is the guest. Play
a dialog.

• You get to know each other and ask the other person questions. You answer the
other person's questions. Possible topics are: What languages do you speak? Where
do you live? What is your name? ...

• You are in the hospital. One is the patient, the other is the doctor. Play a dialog.

• You are in the supermarket. One is the shop assistant, the other is the customer. Play
a dialog.
