13. Exam Pattern of DAT

(i) For Commerce the test is of 2 hours duration & contains 80 multiple choice questions (4
options with a single correct answer) from Mathematics (30 questions), Economics (20
questions) & English (30 questions)

(ii) For Humanities the test is of 2 hours duration & contains 80 multiple choice questions (4
options with a single correct answer) from History & Political Science (30 questions),
Geography (10 questions), Economics (10 questions) & English (30 questions)

(ii) Each question carries 4 marks. For each correct response 4 marks will be awarded and for
each incorrect response (-1) mark will be awarded. If a question is left unanswered no
mark will be awarded.

N.B.:
• Any issues pertaining to downloading of Admit Card should be enquired on 22.01.2024
in between 10.30 A.M. to 6.00 P.M. over Helpline No. 7750850547 or

• Please paste a self-attested recent passport size photograph on the admit card.
• Provision of Mock Tests shall be made available for all the registered candidates through
online mode from 18.01.2024 to 20.01.2024. Detailed Information about the mock test will
be provided in the school website(www.davcsp.org) & intimated to the candidates
through SMS and e-mail.
• The syllabus and sample questions shall be made available on the school website under
admission column from 15.12.2023 onwards.
• Kindly go through the video and the audio instructions uploaded on the website on different
courses/streams available for better understanding on DAT-2024 and the filling up of the form.
• Hostel facilities are available for the candidates opting for fully residential programme (Super
40 & Prime 40). But the candidates opting for other courses of study, hostel seats will be
provided depending on availability of seats. 30% of hostel seats are reserved for out station
Commerce/Humanities students.
• General section students staying in the Hostel are not allowed to go outside for extra-coaching.
If required, it shall be arranged inside the school campus on payment.
• Transport facility is available for the students as per the fixed routeswithin the city.
