CASTING THE NET- fishing for your wealth

LUKE 5:4-7

4 When He had finished speaking, He said to Simon [Peter],

“Put out into the deep water and lower your nets for a catch
[of fish].” 5 Simon replied, “Master, we worked hard all night
[to the point of exhaustion] and caught nothing [in our nets],
but at Your word I will [do as you say and] lower the nets
[again].” 6 When they had done this, they caught a great
number of fish, and their nets were [at the point of] breaking; 7
so they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come
and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats
[with fish], so that they began to sink

1. LET DOWN - Put out into deep

“Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”
 Job 22:29
Amplified Bible
“When you are cast down and humbled, you will speak with confidence,
And the humble person He will lift up and save.
2. WORK WITH FAITH
Simon said “But because you say so, I will let down the nets”
 Psalm 34:10
The young lions lack [food] and grow hungry,
But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.
3. THROW YOUR NET ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BOAT
 JOHN 21:6
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find
some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of
the large number of fish.
