It is only fair if I begin with what this cool has given me.

I came here 2
years ago; the opportunities this school has given me, the laughter, the
lunch breaks, the gossip sessions with our teachers, the fun memories
we built on the bleachers, and so on. Every pillar of this cool has given
me something special to hold onto for the rest of my life.
You know, we are the experiment batch, as funny as it sounds. We did
give two board exams, and then joined back in eleventh grade, totally
confused. Those early days of eleventh were the days I met my friends ,
the friends for life. I mean, the friendships you make in highschool, they
are very unique and it's extremely difficult to part ways with something
that got you through one of the most difficult years in life.
And then there are my teachers. This reminds me of this quote, “We
mothers stand still so our daughters can look back to see how far they
have come.” Aren’t our teachers kind of like that? Our teachers, they
help us reach new heights, so that when we look back, we realise how
far we have reached. But these teachers, they haven’t not only offered us
invaluable wisdom, but unconditional love, friendship and support.
With that said, I'm running short of time, so I'm going to conclude this. I
believe all of us will be somewhere in our futures, somewhere
successful, I hope. But we all will remember this moment. Because this
is not a moment of goodbye. Look around you, these people you see,
they are the reason you're happy today. They are the reason why this day
isn't as sad as it should be. Farewell might be an occasion to say bye to
everything you have grown to cherish. But our friendship, our memories
of this cool or maybe outside it, we will cherish them forever.
And once again, just a reminder, we are the students of the Sri Satya Sai
Vidya Vihar, and once a SSSVIan, always a SSSVIan. And it is only fair
to say that we are going to rock our futures!
One day when I will recollect all these moments. I will remember my
teachers, my sai council members, all my friends, and this school and
you.
