Our most beloved Principal, administrator, manager and esteemed teachers, dear parents,

beloved students, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant welcome to you. It is a great privilege for
me to be standing here in front of you, on behalf of the Principal, to express the joy that we feel
in our hearts today for the feat you have all achieved. They say, “People only remember the first
and forget the rest” but I believe that these three years have been a journey and you should
cherish dearly, the memories.

You do not need an award or a medal to prove that you have something special within you. All
of you are blessed with wellsprings of talents and are worth congratulating, and this is what this
day is all about. How many times have you imagined what this day will be like? You must have
been looking forward to it, imagining every unfolding scene, well here we are, at a juncture,
pause and brace yourself for the final lap. Who would have thought that our then nervous ten
and eleven year olds would survive the roller coaster ride of junior school and have all made it
this far? You have come a long way in your journey indeed.

Three years my dear angels, let me remind you that it took you all three years to finally get to
this point, you have all worked so hard, but the road ahead may yet require more from you.
Now that you have passed the challenges of junior school, it’s time for you to move on to the
bigger fight—Senior school.

The lessons you have learned these past three years are a foundation for what lies ahead, bear
in mind however that the formulas—everything you have memorized— alone will not get your
through. You will face bigger challenges, greater hurdles, a true test of your character. My
charge to you is to stay focused, be dedicated, retain the things you have learnt and brace
yourself for more so that three years from now, you would have earned the right to once again
take your place on this podium.

As you focus on your academics, ensure you discover yourself, do not succumb to the crowd,
learn to appreciate your friends those who may not be as strong as you, be respectful both to
yourselves and others, be willing always to lend a helping hand, you never know, you may just
end up having a sister for life.

Of course we will solve problems by ourselves, answer our tests and exams individually, and go
through our everyday lives on our own, but one cannot deny how important the people around
us are. Our parents, friends, teachers, administrators, even the yards men and the ladies who
serve us our lunch, all of them have played a vital role in helping us be where we are now. Most
especially, God has made it possible to see you through all the challenges and come out of
them stronger and better. For all those blessings, I, along with entire staff are wishing you an
adventurous and fulfilling Senior school.

Once again, congratulations, you deserve to give yourselves one huge round of applause!
