You’re my favorite teacher
Good morning to our respected headmaster, teachers, and my dear friends, we
are gathering here today to bid farewell to our highly valuable teachers, Ms. Lee
Pek See and Madam Tan Siew Kim. Teaching is the profession that creates all
other professions. Ms Lee and Madam Tan joined this school many years ago
and contributed so much time and effort to the students and the school. They
have worked tirelessly in shaping our minds, leading us on a good path, and
many years have gone by it’s so amazing that we don’t realize how quickly time
flies.
Dear Teacher Lee and Madam Tan,
We are thankful for teachers like you who have helped us in making our learning
process so much fun. Certainly, both of you are the source of inspiration to many
teachers here as well, who are enriched with your wealth of knowledge. You
have also motivated us and supported our non-academic interests, which
include poetry, storytelling and chess. You have taught us the joy of living a
happy life and to always keep learning. Thank you for inculcating such invaluable
lessons and habits.
Goodbyes are so hard. On behalf of all fellow students, I would like to say a huge
thank you to both teachers.
We are happy because now you can spend your time exploring your own
interests in life and spend time with your family and friends. Thank you for being
the best teacher, mentor, friend, and playing so many roles at the same time.
We will miss you, Ms Lee and Madam Tan.
