VALEDICTORY ADDRESS:

INTRODUCTION

BODY

Three years have passed, when we met each other in this institution. Stranger to
someone’s eyes yet a remarkable day of being a junior high student. It was our first day. Until
such time that we discern each other. Tears, joy, sadness, madness and other emotions has been
part on our first year in this institution. Many exuberances and sorrows were formed. We worked
as a team, collaborating on our performance task and other projects. We’ve spent our years
wandering the halls, eating at the cafeteria, joking with our classmates, school mates, answering
our exams monthly, copying notes written in the blackboard, reading books and sadly, we are
about to leave the portals of memories, mingled feelings, a contrasting feeling – first a feeling of
excitement for at last long, we were able to complete our junior high school; second, a feeling of
melancholy for we are leaving our junior high years which molded us to what we are now. Yes,
life is really a series of passage ways; we are leaving one and moving on to the next.
For the past three years, several people helped us to achieve and to reach this
unforgettable day and they are meritorious of our gratitude.
First, we thank our beloved parents and guardians for giving us their everlasting support.
We could not reach this wonderful day without you. We have been so blessed to have you who
helped us every way to get to this day. You believed in us that we can reach this glorious day. You
are our inspiration every time we go to school. You worked hard every day to support our daily
needs especially projects, fines, contributions. You have said that you will do everything for us to
complete this wonderful journey. Because of this, we will continue to do the best that we can do
for you to see succeed just as you have always dreamt for us your children. We will always
remember your advice to pursue our dreams and to works hard for them. Although we may not
verbally tell you our thanks, our smiles and happiness we feel right now as we receive our
certificates, will tell you more than words how thankful we are for our guidance and support.
Thank you, Mommy and Daddy and all our family members who share our happiness.
Let us also thank our institution, our alma mater, Maryknoll School of Lupon Inc. for giving
us the opportunity to be a part of this school. Thank you for molding us, for helping us and for
guiding us to the desired path. You helped us how to discipline and control ourselves from the
temptations that we've encountered. Even how strict the rules are, it guides us everyday to
become good and reach this wonderful day.
Thirdly, Maryknoll School of Lupon Inc. Is furtunate enough to have with us neophyte but
competitive teachers as well as school administrators. We have spent many hours abd days with
them. They become like our foster parents here in the school. There is no much more caring
teachers out there. They pushed us to the limits because they see what are we capable of, even
if somtimes, I myself was unable to see it. They've helped me as well as my fellow completers to
get to this day.
In the end, it is not about test, quizzes or exams. It is about what you've gained as a person
that truly matters. I believe that teachers as well as school administrators have tried there best
to teach us this valuable and unforgettable lesson. Even how naughty we are, but you didn't give
up. But instead it became your inspiration to do more and to care us more because you know
that we need a caring and loving teachers especially to our advisers. Without your caring and
loving advise we will not reach this unforgettable day.
Thank you for reminding us that education is a life long process. Thank you for being our
second parent. Truly you did your part in molding us to become a responsible citizens of the
country in the future we owe you our succes for without you, we may not come this so far. A
million thanks is not enough to replace your hard work and perseverance. But thank you thank
you thank you very very much mavam sir.
To my fellow classmates and school mates, thank you for being a friend and a family. Mga
anak ni Ebate ug Biol, that what we call our selves because we were like a sibbling of our adviser.
I know that it is hard to accpet that our happy days together will soon be over. I know it really
hurts especially to those one who has barkada that will transfer to the other school in senior high.
We will no longer share the same laughter we used to share before. We have been through many
trials too but those are just easy because we learned the value of sharing responsibilities,
collaboration and teamwork. (paghatag ug speeach atong Mapeh nga project sa el fili)
Lastly our almighty God.
