So, help us God.
Good afternoon to everyone, especially our beloved parents, distinguished guests,
school administrators, faculty, fellow graduates, and friends. I have great pride in speaking before you today and I am honored to be giving tribute to our dear parents who have been here to guide us through all these years. Who would have imagined we'd be in this situation right now? Can you still recall your kindergarten days? When did you start feeling so uneasy when your parents vanished from your sight? When my mother had to leave me in the classroom, I can still clearly recall crying. We were so helpless, dependent, and immature that we believed we couldn't last a day without our parents' support. When we were young, we didn't realize that they needed to go quickly for work or return home to take care of other siblings and household duties. But as the days went by, we grew accustomed to school life and were drawn to new people, experiences, and learnings. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, you would find your mother or father waiting at the door with open arms, sometimes while wet from the rain and holding an umbrella or raincoat in one hand. Even now, or perhaps even after we have left the doors of our alma mater, they have never stopped playing those parts for us. We encountered new things as we progressed through elementary school. Along the way, we made a variety of new friends. Some of us saw elementary school as a chance to learn new things, while others saw it as a challenge. We did, however, constantly investigate what this world had to offer. Without realizing it or simply ignoring it, we began to make decisions on our own without considering the potential outcomes. We were unable to comprehend the struggles and obstacles you all encountered in order to keep us in school. You put us first, buying our academic requirements. Because you firmly thought that educating your children is not only your duty as a parent, but also a wonderful gift. Some of our beloved parents were forced to endure the pain of leaving their families in order to pursue job from other places in order to ensure the future of their children, enduring the challenges of labor in addition to the daily longing for the security of a family. We skipped holidays in order to send money home, but when they returned, we didn't even care to say "I missed you" or "I love you." We like to apologize for not considering the hardships you had to go through for us in light of all of those things. As we commemorate this historic occasion today, we would want to express our gratitude for your unwavering love and support, which helped us achieve this success as a whole. For the lovely lessons you gave us, the strong morals you instilled in us every day of our lives to become better people, the numerous times you took us back into your arms after we messed up and offended you, forgiving every lie and mistake we made, for protecting us and for trying to reach out despite our apathy. (long pause). To express our gratitude, perhaps a thousand words are insufficient. In particular, we want to honor the parents who are not present today by dedicating this triumph to all the parents present. For giving you to us, we are grateful to our heavenly Father. (Long pause) To our parents: I'd like to say thank you! PLEDGE OF LOYALTY
