To our resilient and sparkling Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Alfredo B. Gumaru Jr.,
CESO V, to our dynamic Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Adonis C. Ceperez,
CESE, to our responsible and generous father of the barangay, Brgy. Captain Benjamin J. Dy, III,
to our most esteemed Secondary School Principal I, Ms. Mary Ann T. Santos, members of the
faculty, fellow students, parents, and visitors, a pleasant afternoon to one and all!
We are gathered here today to celebrate and validate the graduation, moving-up and
recognition ceremony of batch 2022 for the School Year 2021-2022. I am Marlon Santos, with
high honors, and I am honored to have the opportunity to speak today.
First of all, on behalf of Grade 10 Rizal, I would like to welcome you to the graduation
ceremony of batch 2022! With the theme, “K-12: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in
Face of Adversity.”
Highschool has been an unforgettable journey that has prepared us for the future,
whatever it may fold. The past four years has been memorable and influential moment of our
lives. Individually, our experience here are unique, but together, we share a common bond as
member of the batch. I am filled with excitement and anticipation as the next stage in my life
is about to begin. But without the support of our parents or guardian and of course our
teachers, we may not have made it to this dav. They have been there for us since the
beginning, guiding us helping us and watching us grow. They have witnessed us mature into
responsible young individuals.
To my fellow completers, you have shown us that you challenge boundaries, break out
of them and redefine them. That you are individuals committed to each other and to social
change. You are always connected, and you use that connectivity to change things for the
better. Today is a moment to reflect on how you spent your time here as the world has
changed around us. To celebrate your engagement with facts, opinions and interpretation, in
all that you do. Today is a day to acknowledge and celebrate your unwavering commitment to
advance the causes and the knowledge that matter most in this time and to you.
Moreover, I also want to thank our parents, family and friends for their love and
constant support, as well as to the members of faculty of Cabaruan Extension for their
guidance and patience. We truly owe you all that we are today!
Once again, my heartfelt congratulations to you and your families, and my very best
wishes for your personal successes. I know you will make our alma mater proud! Thank you
and God bless!
