The thing about sports, it helps in the development of
mental, physical and emotional attributes, develops qualities
of hard work, team work, confidence, unity and trust, which
are very essential to our profession as public workers and
protectors of the public. That is why Sports activities are a
mandatory part of your mandatory training.
We are here to conduct the Opening Ceremony of the
Sports Festival and I know that everyone is very excited to
participate and engage in different physical activities and
events. This could be an opportunity to showcase your skills,
strength, and talents with a positive sense of sportsmanship.
Sports might give you physical and mental satisfaction.
But please don’t forget the spirit of comradeship. Sports are
not always about winning the competition, but also learning
and trying to do better. Huwag buwis buhay.
Lastly, I highly encourage everyone to participate and
enjoy every last activity during this festival. And I hope that
everyone will realize the importance of physical fitness and
strength.
