INTRODUCTION

Problem and project-based learning (PBL) is a approach for addressing the need for
interdisciplinary in engineering education, however it tend to be limited to a single
discipline.
This article presents new project topology based on an action research study in a
systematic PBL environment and this topology can be used as a conceptual
framework for interdisciplinary learning throughout engineering education.
