Carpool Procedures

1. All carpool participants must be Red Deer College students or employees.

2. Vehicles parked in the designated carpool stalls without a permit will be ticketed by parking
enforcement.

3. Although four license plate numbers can be registered under one carpool permit, but only one is
permitted to be on campus at a time.

4. Carpool parking stalls may be monitored for arrivals to ensure the integrity of the program.

5. Carpool parking is in designated carpool stalls located in East Zone (Lot C - 12 stalls), West Zone (Lot
N - 6 stalls) and Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre (22 stalls).

6. The College reserves the right to relocate carpool parking stalls at any time.

7. Carpool parking fees are based on current fiscal full year rates but may be subject to change at any
time. Carpool permit cost is to be paid by the “Captain” of the pool who can then collect a share from
other members of the carpool.

8. Participants may be a member of one carpool only (exceptions may be reviewed in extenuating
circumstances).
