This source is about the Nuremberg trials which took place from 1939 to 1945. The Nuremberg

trials justified the millions of Jews by investigating the Nazizs for the atrocities that they had

committed. Adolf Hitler who was the leader of the nazi party group avoided the trials due to

killing himself. In this source, the reader can find logos which are throughout the entire article.

The reason for logos in the source is so the reader can use logic to see for themselves that these

trials were logically going to place since the genocide of millions of Jews happened. Since the

genocide was so big and brutal logically those who were trialed got the most severe punishments

for what they had done. This source is a reliable source because it is used by many scholars to

have credible and up-to-date information. This source is also very helpful for almost anything

that you are looking for and you would get reliable information from both primary and secondary

sources.

This source is about The trials of major Nazi leaders in Nuremberg, Germany. After the

Nuremberg trials, international laws were dramatically changed for people who committed

atrocious acts against humanity. In this source, the readers can find emotional appeal which

states that they should have received much harsher punishment for their crimes for what

atrocious things they had particularly toward the Jewish race. Another emotional appeal in this

source was how people wanted the leader of the nazi party to be prosecuted but due to him not

wanting to go through the misery he caused to others, he killed himself and his wife in a bunker

when he was surrounded by allied forces. Many more nazizs leaders also escaped the Nuremberg

trials. This source is a reliable source because One of the two authors who edited this article was

a historian who knew a lot about the trials and had facts to back them up. He also went to Yale

University as well and got knowledge from there as well. The second author who edited this

article also was at Yale University and was an expert on the World War 2 war crimes that were

committed against the Jewish race. This source is reliable if you were to use it since it is backed

by two knowledgeable historians who know what they are saying.

This source is about the controversy about whether the Nuremberg trials were necessary due to

the amount of atrocities committed by the nazizs. Many things were kept secret between leaders

of countries in World War 2. Many of them suggested that they should be executed when they are

spotted. President Roosevelt even wanted to Liquidate them all. This source includes many

logical arguments of what should be done to high-ranking nazi officials for their war crimes. The

most logical thing to do here was to put them all on trial which they couldn’t escape even if they

wanted to. However, people argued that they should all be liquidated hence the amount of evil

things they committed against the Jewish race. This was agreed upon by the Allied powers that

the Nuremberg trials would take place in Nuremberg, Germany to prosecute nazi officials. This

source is credible because the author of the article is an American lawyer who is an ambassador

for the United States of America for war crime issues. He also has education from Harvard and

Oxford universities which are the most prestigious to attend to. He also has attended many trials

like the Nuremberg trials. This source is reliable for anyone who is reading it or is getting

information from it.

This source is about how a location was found for the trial since it couldn’t be held in the capital

of Germany due to mass destruction caused by the Allied forces bombarding the area. It was

decided it would take place in Numbereg, Germany. This source also states the atrocities that the

nazizs committed in every horrific way. The trials revealed the true extent of German atrocities

and held some of the most high-ranking Nazis accountable for their crimes. This source has a lot
Ahmad 5

of emotional appeal in it because the author explains the horrific ways the nazizs used to

liquidate six million Jews. They also targeted many other people who were disabled and even

Homosexual. When the nazis were trialed they showed no remorse for what pure evil things they

had done to people for not having true German charteists. This source is also credible because

the author of the source was a Polish historian who had been a victim and survivor of the

Holocaust. He also has many more sources like this that are credible and he is considered a

trustworthy person who is writing about his own experience.
