Letter of Recommendation

It gives me pride in recommending Narendranath for the MS Program in your University. I have known him since July
2014 in the position of Professor, SRM University. As a student his knowledge and adaptability are distinctive. He
carries a positive mindset and a participative attitude, which transpires to all in the classroom.

Currently, I am handling the Industrial Management and Economics course. He has consistently performed well and
has scored above 9/10 in both the internal tests that have taken place. He has a good understanding of
fundamentals in the subject and his quantitative skills would help him a great deal in furthering his skills during the
MS Program. In addition, I have always found him to be an active student in the class, probing questions and seeking
clarification on his doubts. Embodying effective grasping power and the necessary technical skills, he has shown the
motivation, intelligence, preserving nature, analytical aptitude for further study. Most importantly, his ability to learn
and the confidence to approach difficulties reflect in his determination and hard work.

Narendranath’s communication skills are excellent. He is an active member in class and exhibits a participative
attitude, taking initiatives whenever required. For instance, when the entire class was asked to conduct a seminar on
the subject of Managerial Economics, Narendranath volunteered and conducted it well. His expressed enthusiasm
during his presentation and his understanding of the subject was remarkable. I found him to be a good public
speaker, with the ability to explain and connect with the audience in good pace. This seminar was conducted on
August 5th, 2014.

I am deeply moved by his capability of understanding, perseverance and approach towards academic challenges,
which has been explicitly demonstrated through his academic journey. In my unbiased opinion, he possesses a rich
mixture of inventiveness, character and obedience required for a person who desires to go through the rigors of an
MS Program. He has worked on all aspects of gaining technical knowledge along with implementing the same in the
better delivery of his task.

I recommend him with firm faith in his capabilities, and character wishing him all the best for his future endeavors.
