Engineering
Consumable packages for gas and steam turbine
outages
Since condition and reliability based maintenance becomes
more important also the requirements for the maintenance
management and outage planning are changing. Intelligent
asset and supply chain management is important to reduce
maintenance cost and guarantee the optimum plant
availability and performance. We identify the critical spare
parts based on the machine condition, service history and
planned operation and make sure that the required parts will
be available in high quality and the correct quantity on time
for the maintenance activities. We offer customized
strategic spare parts and consumable packages for a
number of steam and gas turbines to fulfil the individual
customer demand.
Re-engineered parts
There are cases where the operator experienced problems
with the parts during operation, the supply of the parts was
stopped by the OEM or no sufficient documentation is
available for manufacturing. In those situations we are able
to perform a comprehensive re-engineering process. The
available information, such as sample parts, operation
parameter, components history, drawings etc. will be used
to obtain as much information as possible as input for the
engineering process to establish new manufacturing
specifications. We follow the approach of «copy – fix –
improve», that allows us to simply copy a part with all its
original characteristics, but also to improve the design of the
components, considering changed operation parameters as
well as improvements related to available materials and
manufacturing technologies.
Portable machining equipment and special tooling
On-site machining and repairs can significantly reduce
down-time and risk during maintenance and outage
activities. We develop application oriented on-site solutions.

Joint integrity management
Bolts and bolted joints comprise highly complex systems
often not accorded the appropriate degree of attention
throughout all phases of a project. With limited resources
and an understandable “Big Picture” focus, Project
Designers, Engineers, Suppliers and Constructors, usually
don’t have the time required for full review and oversight of
all facets contributing to the integrity of a project’s critical
bolted joints. Yet these relatively inexpensive and low-
priority components often have a disproportionate impact on
a project’s profitability, maintainability and ultimate success.
With our partner “Hevï Technology” we can provide unique
technical and physical resources to eliminate the risk of
failed capital equipment and forced plant shutdowns caused
by commonly-practiced yet uncontrolled bolted joint
assembly procedures. Our technicians have worked around
the world for Owners, OEMs, EPCMs and General
Contractors during construction, repair or modification of
critical process units. We are also frequently contracted to
address bolt failure and flange leakage on existing
equipment.

Periodical condition assessment of critical plant
components and equipment, such as turbines, generators,
motors, pumps or gear boxes is the base for reliable and
optimal operation and cost effective maintenance planning.
For the acquisition and evaluation of the technical state of
the machines, relevant components and parameters will be

operation and maintenance information. The measurement
data will be evaluated in context with those information. To
