SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

This study focuses on the effectiveness of having medication’s list without using cards in
handling, administering and delivering medications to a large number of patients by 1 bedside nurse.
Recent practice of such to different wards will be used as research and data collection to find out
whether it is efficient for medication nurses on both regular and covid wards to use it without
compromising quality care to patients especially in committing medication errors. The study would be
done through utilization of questionnaire to all the participating wards.

This study would not extend to other factors such as current emotional and mental state of the
nurse and patient, work relationship within the wards, pharmacy’s date and time of dispensing
medications (both available and non-formulary).
