(I decided at the time of speaking) (but Your boss and I haven’t decided on a time yet) Plan / Arrangement:
• I’m meeting your boss tomorrow.
• I’m going to meet your boss tomorrow. • I’ll be meeting your boss tomorrow.
(Your boss and I have scheduled a time to meet,
so the meeting will definitely happen) As you can see from the example above, there are 3 verb tenses that are commonly used: 1. Going to: They’re going to visit her next week. going to + V1 2. Present Continuous: They’re visiting her next week. is/am/are + verb-ing Note: Jab future ke liye is/am/are + verb-ing ka use kare hain, we usually include the specific time in the future. (to avoid confusion with “actions happening at the moment”) • I'm picking up my kids from school. (right now, at this moment; I am currently doing this) • I'm picking up my kids from school at 2. (spoken in the morning, before 2 PM; the action is still in the future) 3. Future Continuous: They’ll be visiting her next week. will/won’t + be + verb-ing (Future ke kisi specific time par koi kaam ho raha hoga)
