Plan / Arrangement:

• I’m meeting your boss tomorrow.


• I’m going to meet your boss tomorrow.
• I’ll be meeting your boss tomorrow.

(Your boss and I have scheduled a time to meet,


so the meeting will definitely happen)
As you can see from the example above, there are
3 verb tenses that are commonly used:
1. Going to: They’re going to visit her next week.
going to + V1
2. Present Continuous: They’re visiting her next week.
is/am/are + verb-ing
Note: Jab future ke liye is/am/are + verb-ing ka use
kare hain, we usually include the specific time in the
future.
(to avoid confusion with “actions happening at the
moment”)
• I'm picking up my kids from school.
(right now, at this moment; I am currently doing this)
• I'm picking up my kids from school at 2.
(spoken in the morning, before 2 PM; the action is
still in the future)
3. Future Continuous: They’ll be visiting her next week.
will/won’t + be + verb-ing
(Future ke kisi specific time par koi kaam ho raha hoga)

• Don’t call me at 7, because I’ll be driving home from work.


• Don’t call me at 8, because I’ll be teaching online.
• I’ll be having dinner at 7 PM.
• She’ll be watching her favorite serial tonight at 8.
• At 9:30 tomorrow morning, we’ll be travelling.

• at 9 o’clock tomorrow? – (I'll be in my car.)
• at midnight tonight? – (I'll be in my bedroom.)
• at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon? – (I'll be at
work.)
• after two years from now? – (I don’t know
where I’ll be.)
• after one hour from now? – (I’ll be at home.)
Q. How will she be at the end of her trip?
• She’ll be very happy.
• She’ll be very tired.
