DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

INTRODUCTION
A few years ago, I was just like you. I
discovered I had a passion for speaking,
teaching and helping others achieve
tangible results in their business and
money-making ventures.

As a savvy entrepreneur, people sought my

advice freely on what kind of business they
could start and how to grow their existing
businesses. I enjoyed sharing my knowledge
with them especially when I get great
feedback from those who have executed my
suggestions.

Because I have a passion for knowledge, I

started taking courses to improve myself so
that I could be of my help to those people.
My coach asked me to host a masterclass or
group coaching.

3
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

I was so scared of selling so I started

holding free classes where I would teach all
I know, my students and clients would take
the knowledge to monetize it and get
massive results.

I was building impact and influence but had

nothing to show for it.

For a long time, I struggled with how to

build a business around this passion of mine
online as I struggled with impostor
syndrome. I constantly felt like I was not
good enough and I was not worth people
paying me but those I was teaching thought
I was great.

I consistently saw other people living my

life, getting paid to do the same or less than
I was doing, yet I couldn't get the clarity I
needed to launch out properly. I needed
help.

4
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

The problem was - I was making an impact

and influencing people positively with my
passion but it wasn't translating into
income.

I realized that if I was ever going to make an

income doing what I loved then I needed to
get rid of the fear and seek help. I needed
accountability and mentorship.

I needed to follow who "sabi" road. I

submitted myself to coaching but this time I
took instructions seriously because I didn't
want to end up resenting those i was
supposed to be helping.

Once I made this decision, I was able to

break out of the chains and get the results I
deserved by settling it in my spirit that...

It is one of God's desires for me to earn a

FEE doing what I would have gladly done
for FREE.

5
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Surprisingly, My Results Have Been

Outstanding!

I didn't realize when I started that not only

was I going to begin to earn more money
than I was doing but I would also become a
source of inspiration to young people who
want to build impact, influence and income.

As a result of ditching my fears and selling

myself, I have helped so many people
launch their ebooks, podcasts, courses and
other digital products

I have written books, launched courses and

helped others do the same.

I have grown my business from struggling to

charge at all to earning 7 figures it!

You can say: When it comes to creating

impact, influence and income with digital
products, I know what works!

6
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Being able to create high-quality

information products is a useful and
profitable skill to have.

Digital products can be used to start, grow,

and promote your business, build a list,
establish authority, trust, and credibility in
your niche or industry, uncover new
product or service opportunities, generate
additional streams of revenue, and more!

This book shows you how to create, launch,

and sell high-quality digital products like
downloadable reports, e-books, videos, and
audios quickly and cost-effectively.

WHAT DIGITAL PRODUCTS ARE
Digital products, also known as info
products, are materials produced in digital
format and distributed online, such as e-
books, videos, audios, applications, and
member websites.

Most are educational and we can say that

currently the most sought after are online
courses.

They have become popular in the business

world because they are powerful and
therefore allow for scalability of earnings.

When we talk about digital products, we’re

talking about tools that are created,
published, stored and distributed online.

The beauty of these is that you can create

them once and sell it forever, benefit from
infinite inventory and usually pay minimal
costs for storage.

DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
WHO CAN BECOME A DIGITAL
PRODUCER
The Digital Producer is someone who has
knowledge that can be shared on the
Internet and creates a digital product (such
as an online course or an e-book), to teach
other people the subject in which they are
an expert.

If you are passionate about cake making,

for example, you can create an online
course with video recipes for beginners who
want to learn how to venture into the
kitchen. Or, if you are an expert in
organizing events, how about creating an e-
book with tips for brides to cut their
wedding expenses?

There are millions of digital product ideas

on the digital market, and the best thing is
that they are available to everyone.

10
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

It may sound cliché to you, but the truth is

that anyone can become a Digital Producer,
provided that:
Have an idea that offers value to a
group of people.
Take the first step after structuring
that idea (like recording videos or
writing about it).
Investigate your ability and learn how
you can best transmit it digitally.
The best product format will be the one
that passes the content in the clearest
way.
Identify opportunities in the digital
market by detecting the needs of other
people (even if, at first, the Producer
does not have a specific idea of what it
will do).
Test the product before putting it on the
market to understand its real value.
Circulate the product.
Don't stop updating.

11
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Knowing more about what's new in the

market is essential to produce something
that meets the needs of the public.

The difference between who will succeed is

persistence and the willingness to learn.

If you want to be an entrepreneur,

incorporate that having
a successful mindset is as important as
success in itself.

BENEFITS OF DIGITAL
PRODUCTS
1. Make More Money

Let’s get real: This is probably the number 1

reason most people decide to sell a digital
product.
While most people shouldn’t expect to sell
hundreds of thousands of dollars especially
on their first go there’s no doubt that selling
digital products can be a great way to
earn passive income.

2. Spend Less Time Working

The beauty of digital products is that you

create them once and then, can sell them
again and again.
Selling digital products means much of your
work is done upfront, leaving you more time
for working on other parts of your business
or better yet, doing something fun!

13
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

And if you’re really smart, you’ll automate

much of your work, leaving you even with
MORE free time. Do this through building
out an amazing sales funnel, engaging
affiliates and hiring someone to do the rest!

3. Help More People

If you’re a service-based business owner,

you already know that there are only so
many people you can serve.
There are only 24 hours in a day, and this
limits how many people you can work with.
With a digital product, you can serve an
unlimited number of people. Once you’ve
created your product, anyone can buy it,
anywhere in the world, at any time of the
day.

4. Work From Anywhere

If you’re currently selling physical

products,

14
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

you likely have to spend much of your time

at the office managing inventory, dealing
with customers, shipping products, etc.
One benefit of selling a digital product is
that you can literally work from anywhere
in the world: from home, from the bus, even
from the beach.
This is the ultimate in work/life balance and
flexibility!

5. Start Selling Quickly

One of the things I love most about selling

digital products is how easy it is to make
money quickly.
With physical products, you need to source
your products, upload photos and
descriptions to your website, manage
inventory and shipping, etc. With digital
products, you pretty much just have to
create them, upload them to your site, and
you’re done.
This means you can literally create your
product one day, and start selling it next!

15
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
DIGITAL PRODUCER OR
AFFILIATE?
Today, there are two main ways of working
in the digital product market: acting as a
Producer or as an Affiliate.

The Digital Producer, as we have already

mentioned, is the person who develops the
products, such as online courses and e-
books.

The Affiliate, on the other hand, is the

person who advertises these products on
the Internet and receives a commission for
each sale made (which can represent up to
80% of the total value of the product!).

Knowing if it is better to be a Digital

Producer or Affiliate will depend a lot on
your profile.

16
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

If you are a person who likes to create new

things, put his hands on the dough and be
the face of your business (appear on videos
and give interviews, for example), being a
Producer may be the best option.

On the other hand, if you prefer to venture

into sales techniques, online advertising
and prefer to stay behind the scenes,
perhaps your profile is more suited to the
Affiliate profession.

Either way, both opportunities are great for

anyone who wants to be their own boss and
generate income online.

17
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
DIGITAL PRODUCT FORMATS
There are several types of products and the
best format will be the one that transmits
the content in the most appropriate way for
your client.
For some businesses, an e-book is sufficient
and convenient since it allows easy
accessibility.

For the most complex materials, video

classes are the most suitable, because the
student also has the audiovisual resource to
help them understand.

In general, the following digital product

formats exist:

Written Products
Audio Products
Video Products
Design
Photography

BIGGEST MYTHS ABOUT
DIGITAL PRODUCT
The market for digital products, although it
has been in vogue for some years, is still
new for many people. And that's why there
are several myths around the universe of
info products that you need to deconstruct.

The first of them is that it is very easy to

make money selling digital products. And
although this is an accessible market and
with many possibilities of success, it is not
as well as how it works.

After all, this is a job like any other: You

must dedicate yourself enough to get good
results.

And even in this sense, many people believe

that Digital Producers and Affiliates work
less than other professionals, or that they
do not need to study, which is not true.

24
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

The great experts in the market always

update, take courses and participate in
events to discover the best sales strategies,
in addition to devoting enough time to the
production, optimization and dissemination
of their digital products.

Another myth that is widely spread is that

you need a lot of money to start in the
market for info products, but this is not
without legend. It is even possible to create
free online courses!

And in addition to those mistaken beliefs,

there are also those who think that it is
very difficult to develop a Digital Product.

However, today you can create your online

course or e-book with tools available on the
Internet, free and easy to use.

25
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
HOW TO CREATE YOUR FIRST
DIGITAL PRODUCT
Now we come to the moment you've been
waiting for, right?

As you already know, there is a multitude of

digital product formats that can be created
and marketed on the Internet, but in this
book, we will focus on the main two: online
courses and e-books
.
Shall we start?

How do you know what content to create?

Before you start thinking about how to

create a Digital Product, you should take a
step back and think about what type of info
product you should develop.

I have an idea!

You don't have to wait for something

incredibly innovative to call it a "good idea."

26
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

If you have one that adds value to a group of

people, you are ready to get down to
business.

The first step is easier than you can

imagine!

If your plan is to teach a course in e-book

format, start writing it. If it's producing
video classes, record your first video.

As much as it is not perfect as you had

proposed, you will already have a prototype
of your digital business.

Once you take the first step, you must

validate your business. We will talk about
this later in this book!

I have a skill!

Maybe you have some skill or talent but you

have no idea how to turn it into a business.

27
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

If so, research everything related to your

universe and discover how you can transmit
your knowledge with a Digital Product.

I have no idea

If you still do not have a specific idea but

perceive excellent opportunities in the
digital products market, then do not worry.

A valuable tip is to pay more attention to

the environment in which you live to
identify the needs of people close to you.
Sites like Quora, Reddit and Yahoo
Answers can help you find what people
need.

Find your passions and hobbies, if you don't

have one yet it can be a good time to start.

Also, look for other digital products and get

inspired by innovative businesses.

If you are not an expert, be eager to learn!

28
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
VALIDATING YOUR NICHE
After thinking about your business ideas
and your skills, you must validate the niche
in which you are going to act.

Research it using keyword tools to

understand your niche demand, like Google
Keyword Planner and SemRush.

Understand trends by using tools like

Google Trends.

Research your competitors and evaluate

the sales rate of each one.

If you already have an audience, offer them

questionnaires and surveys to understand
their demands.

Create a very basic version of your Digital

Product (we will talk about this later in this
book) and test its reception in the market."

29
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
HOW TO CREATE ONLINE
COURSES
To create an online course you must divide
your work into three steps:
Pre-production
Production
Post-production

In this chapter, we will focus on the

production of the Digital Product itself, but
remember that before starting something
you should do an investigation of the niche
and also define your buyer persona, who
will represent your ideal client and guide
your entire strategy.

PRE-PRODUCTION
Structure your course
The first step to getting down to work is to
define the structure of your course, that
is, assemble a skeleton of all the modules
that will be created and the video classes
that will be part of each one.

30
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

This outline will work as the basis for you to

create your scripts, which will be your next
step to follow.

Create your script

The script is the document that will guide

you when you record the classes and will
help you to ensure that your content is
relevant, didactic and that it meets the
objectives of the course.

Buy the necessary equipment

To create your online course you will need

some basic equipment, such as a camera
and a microphone.

This does not mean that you must invest a

lot of money, you can even start with the
camera of your smartphone and with a
cheap lapel microphone.

31
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

It is also important to think about lighting,

since this is an aspect that can greatly
affect the quality of your videos.
You can opt for natural light (when
recording in a well-lit environment) or
make homemade artificial lighting.

Set your stage

The stage in which you will record your

videos is very important since it can greatly
facilitate your audience connecting with
you, as well as allowing you to better
convey your professionalism and
credibility.

Here you can choose two basic types of

scenarios:

An environment of your house with

elements related to your course and that
show your personalities, such as paintings,
cushions and decoration elements in
general.

32
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

A solid colour background, which brings

more sobriety to the stage and makes your
audience focus more on you.

In addition, it is also important to take care

of the acoustic insulation of the
environment so that your audio does not
have noises that distract your students.

Choose quiet places away from the street or

other noisy environments in your home or
office.

Another tip is to use acoustic foams or, in

case of a low budget, go for carpets,
blankets and sofas with cushions that can
reduce the echo during your recordings.

PRODUCTION
Start recording!

After setting the stage and getting the gear,

it was time to shine on camera.

33
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Here some additional and affordable

equipment like a teleprompter and a tripod
can make a difference.

Also, a good strategy to increase your

performance is to train public speaking
techniques to better instruct, delight and
excite your audience.

It is worth remembering that to

obtain quality audio it is interesting to
record the sound with a separate
microphone from the camera, as we
mentioned in the previous topic.

You can “go wrong” in your video as many

times as you want because at the time of
editing you will delete everything that is
not good and leave the content “round”.

That is what we are going to talk about

now.

34
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

POST-PRODUCTION

Edit your video

When the recording is ready, you should

edit the content using an editing program.

At this time, you will:

Eliminate scenes with errors and
glitches.
Add a soundtrack if necessary.
Include B scenes, such as clips, slides,
and images.
Insert letterings (titles and phrases to
emphasize the content).
Do whatever it takes to make your
content educational and engaging.

Host your video course

When your content is recorded and edited,

you just have to host the classes on a
platform where your students can access
them.

35
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
HOW TO CREATE EBOOKS
Do a search

Making a list related to the topics you are

going to discuss is essential to ensure that
your content is as complete as possible and
that it heals the "pain" of your reader.

Find out what your competitors are saying

about the matter, look for books on it,
watch YouTube channels specialized in
their niche, watch documentaries.

Absorb all the knowledge you can!

Structure of the content

The next step to create your e-book is to

understand how you are going to solve your
buyer persona problems and how you can
organize the chapters to deliver the
information in the best possible way to your
reader.

36
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Make a list of the topics and subtopics.

The idea here is to sketch the skeleton of

your content, which will guide you when
you write the book itself.

Write, write, write!

This is the time to put all your knowledge on

the subject on paper, in a didactic and
interesting way that captivates your
reader.

Here are some tips to write well :

Be objective and clear. Offer something
different from what is "already out
there."
Create a scannable structure (use
intertitles, topics, lists, tables and
anything else that makes reading
easier).
Offer examples and illustrate the
content whenever possible.

37
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Use a friendly and reader-friendly

language.
Use proper grammar and check the
spelling.

Design your Ebook Cover

The design of an e-book is as important as

the content, and if you want to offer a
quality Digital Product it is very important
that you take care of its visual aspect with
affection.

However, this does not mean that you need

to hire a professional designer or learn
super-advanced Photoshop techniques.

Do the review

Before circulating your product it is

important to do a review to make sure
everything is fine.

38
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

If necessary, ask a friend to help you or hire

a consultant.

Host your Digital Product on a distribution

platform

In order to automatically deliver the

product to buyers and receive payments,
you must use a trusted digital platform.

39
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
HOW TO PRICE DIGITAL
PRODUCTS
You should consider some points before
establishing the price of your Digital
Product, including:

Production expenses
Prices offered by the competition
Profile of your audience
Projection of earnings
Product value for your customer
Value of product

This last item is important because it

indicates how valuable and useful that
content is for your client.

The more it is for him, the more you can

charge for your Digital Product.

40
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
HOW TO PROTECT DIGITAL
PRODUCTS
Many people think that digital products, as
they are marketed and consumed in the
virtual environment, are very susceptible to
plagiarism and illegal exchange, but this
can be avoided if you take precautions to
protect yourself.

You can register your work on the National

Library site, which guarantees your rights
as the author of your e-book or online
course. And there is no reason to worry
since copyright law also works on the
Internet.

In addition, it is recommended that you

have a platform that has a protection
system for PDF and EPUB files, thus
preventing your digital content from being
hacked.

41
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
HOW TO VALIDATE DIGITAL
PRODUCTS IDEAS
If you are a beginning Digital Producer, or
even if you are releasing a new product, the
best way to know if it works or not is
through testing.

It may seem obvious, but many people think

of doing something perfectly right away
without even understanding how their
product works on the market.

This also applies to digital products, and

this is where you have to introduce the
concept of Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
or minimum viable product.

If your idea is to produce a complete

coaching course, for example, you can
record some videos and offer them to a
small sample of the market, to people who
fit the profile of your audience.

42
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Validate it also by presenting it to

professionals who are already in the digital
environment, ask them what they would do
differently and how you could improve.

Try it as many times as necessary. Then,

with your approved MVP, it will be time to
focus on sales strategies.

43
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
WHERE TO SELL DIGITAL
PRODUCTS
To obtain digital visibility, it is highly
recommended that you have a sales page,
where you will present your solutions,
benefits, payment methods, guarantees and
all the information necessary to persuade
your buyer person to purchase the product.

In addition, there are platforms for digital

products, which provide all the necessary
infrastructure to make online sales.

You can search for the ideal platform for

your business by observing other Digital
Producers who already use this type of
resource or access our post that shows how
to choose the best platform for your online
course.

It is important to remember that to register

your product on a digital platform you will
have to go through an evaluation so as not
to violate any terms of use.

44
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
HOW TO SELL DIGITAL
PRODUCTS
There are several channels for you
to advertise and sell your products, but
remember that you must be where your
audience is.

Below, we list the main strategies used by

most digital entrepreneurs:

Offer valuable content to your audience

Before thinking about selling your product

on the Internet, you should think about
becoming a authority in your niche. And for
that, an excellent strategy is to offer
valuable content to your audience, to help
them solve their problems.

When you deliver free content that is really

useful, the public starts to see you as an
authority on that topic and starts to trust
you, which will also set in motion the
following principle:

45
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

If what you offer for free is already

incredible, imagine what sensational that
will be the product you sell!

To put this technique into practice you can

use different channels, such as a blog,
YouTube or social networks.

The most important thing is that you

offer the content that your buyer persona
really needs (not only what you find
interesting).

To do this, research using keyword tools or

sites like answerthepublic.com.

Use email marketing

The email is a powerful tool and can

consider it your great ally from now on.
If a person gives you their email, it means
you have permission to speak directly to
them.

46
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

There are many email marketing tools with

which you can send personalized emails
and analyze metrics related to message
triggering.

MailChimp, for example, is one of them, and

you can use it for free when starting your
business.

However, you should be very careful with

this strategy and that is that the email only
works well if the recipient is really
interested in receiving your messages.

To capture the contacts of potential buyers,

you can use the technique mentioned in the
previous topic, offering materials such as
free e-books and mini-courses in exchange
for the reader's email, explaining that you
will use this information to contact him by
e-mail. mail.

47
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Interact on Social Media

The great advantage of social networks is
that through them you get to connect with
the reader by talking very closely.

But beware: each social network has its

peculiarities!

Creating an account in each new network

that appears can make you disoriented,
although to avoid it you can also use tools
like Buzzsumo, which will help you measure
the performance of your affairs in the
various social networks.

Don't neglect to create a good social media

management structure to manage to
monitor all your communication channels
with your audience.

It is worth remembering that, although this

is one of the best channels to promote
digital products, you should not abuse
sales-focused publications.

48
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

In other words, rather than spending all

your time talking about your product, you
have to focus on offering valuable content
to your audience.

Advertise

Without a doubt, posting ads is one of the

best ways to sell digital products on the
Internet.

If you want to make your first sale, or

even launch a new product, this is definitely
the shortest way (however, you will have to
invest a little money).

There are different types of advertisements

that you can make on the Internet, such as:
Google search network.
Google Display Network.
Sponsored stories on Instagram.
Ads on Facebook.
Native Ads.
And many more!

49
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT

Take advantage of Affiliate Programs

By joining an Affiliate Program you will find

people who have an interest in promoting
the products of others.

With each sale, the Affiliates receive a

commission and both they and the
Producers earn money.

The great advantage offered by the system

is that your product gains visibility and
your sales opportunities increase.

This is one of the most effective

strategies for selling digital products,
mainly because, if you are not a sales
specialist, you can count on someone who
is!

50
DIGITAL PRODUCT BLUEPRINT
LIFE CYCLE OF DIGITAL
PRODUCTS
After you start selling your digital products,
you need to be aware of their life cycle.
This will allow you to make changes when
necessary to avoid outdating your content.

The life cycle of a Digital Product has four

basic stages:

Introduction: when you start to attract

customers and make the first sales.
Growth: when your marketing strategies
are consolidated and sales increase.
Maturity: when the product is already
established in the market and has stable
sales.
Decline: When content becomes
obsolete or sales stagnate.

You need to be on the lookout for sales

metrics (like the cost of acquisition per
customer, churn rate, or average ticket) to
act when necessary.
