Statement of the Problem


to explore the effectiveness of the Digital Mind Map using a Digital Mind Mapping Tool, Miro, as
a Learning Method in improving the Grammatical Competence of First Year English Majors at
Mindoro State University, Calapan City Campus.

Statement of the Hypotheses


● significant differences between the mean scores of the control and the experimental
groups in the post-test of the English Grammar Achievement Test in favor of the
experimental group.
● significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre-
test and post-test of the English Grammar Achievement Test in favor of the post-
administration.

Scope and Limitation


The study is limited only to the first-year English Major students of Mindoro State University,
Calapan City Campus, attending secondary education, school year 2023- 2024.
