The Titanic

Characters:

Mum = Denzel

Dad = mitchell

Children = sam

Narrator = Nathan

Captain = edward

Beginning:

Nar: the world shook as the iceberg tore a huge hole into the side of the boat, water flushed to fill
the hole like a group of children after lollies. Clothes flew across the floor as if a tsunami had hit
them, drawers slammed open and closed. The titanic rocked dangerously and people above deck
hung on the rails for dear life. There was a scraping noise that screeched like nails on a blackboard

Child: what’s going on!??!

Dad: I’m not sure, stay put and I’ll go investigate (sound like waking up/running)

Mum: It's alright I’m sure it's just a little bump from a big wave, like the one I showed you
remember?

Child: The big one that wiped out the city? (eyes widen I don’t know how to put that in sounds)

Mum: no just a small one and plus the titanic is indestructible, I paid a lot of money for this trip I’m
sure there’s nothing to worry about!

Child: Look out the window mum that’s huge!!!

Mum: Oh my god Gerald!! Get back here!

Nar: Gerald flew up the stairs faster than a duck on a sugar rush, when he got to the top of the ship
he saw stood speechless along with a crowd of passengers trying to see what’s happening. A shout
came from the crowd as he screamed and pointed at the huge ice berg facing them off with chunks
of metal down it, the screeching continued as the boat continued to scrap the ice berg. Sharp
screams pierced the air from decks far below. Gerald ran up a series of steps leading to the captain’s
quarters.

(screaming sound effect)

Dad: Edward! Stop the ship! We have hit an iceberg!

Edward: this ship isn’t going to sink it’s the most firm and strong ship that has even sailed the seas

Dad: look out the window!

Edward: (speechless)

Dad: you need to alert everyone on board now and we need to evacuate the ship now

(More screeching)

Middle:

Nar: hundreds of people now on top deck scattering around like a kicked over ant nest waiting for
further instructions. Suddenly what sounds like a gunshot followed by a red line and then a
explosion in the sky.

(Insert flair noise)

Nar: Repeated 3 times the flares had been shot hoping nearby ships might see and come to aid. The
crew stared to tell people to board the lifeboats, but …. were some reason stopping men! Gerald
bolted like lightning down the stairs back to his room. There was not enough life rafts for everyone
and people piled onto each other.

Mum: Gerald what’s happening up there?

Dad: I don’t know but this ship is going to go down! Get Tim up to deck and onto a boat!

Nar: the iceberg was coming in full effect as people tumbled over each other to get to life boats.
Women and children were let on the boats first as men were left to man the ship.

(Water sound effect)

Nar: There was a splash as people fell into the sea open to the harsh waters. The moon looked sadly
at the catastrophic event unfolding, as it creeped below the horizon, while half of the world was
sleeping, people on the titanic were wide awake.

Dad: Leave all your bags they do not matter there isn’t enough space!

Mum: But but….

Dad: No buts get Tim up there right now!

Mum: Timmy where are you!!!

Dad: don’t tell me you lost the child

Mum: I didn’t I’m sure he's just in the bathroom, (insert nocking noise) Tim are you in there, hello?

Mum: we may have a problem!!

Dad: where could he have possibly gone?!!

Mum, dad: we need to find him now!!!!!

Dad: Quick I found him he is out in the hallway

Dad:

Titanic sinks and the people escape

End:

Nar: the lucky people who were able to board the lifeboats watched in tears while the titanic and
many others who were not able to get off were going down with the ship. Lifeboats were deploying
left and right but the number of people on deck didn’t seem to budge.

Dad: get on the boat over there! Don’t worry about me grab Tim and get out of here!

Mum: what about you! I wont stand leaving this ship without you!

Child: Mummy we have to go the liferafts are running out!

Nar: The water level was rising rapidly as one side of the boat sincked farther into the water than the
other, the top deck was about to be flooded.

Dad: Get on the boat! Ill get on later don’t worry about me!

Nar: The water was slowly creeping up the side of the ship, the last life boat leaving its docking
station.

Mum and child: Gerald!!!

Nar: A huge wave smashed into Gerald fully submerging him in the water, Tim and his mom
screamed as they lost sight of him

Mum: Stop the boat! My husband is in the sea over there!!

Random: we cant stop the ship just for one man

Mum: GERALD!!

Start ending sound

Dad: leave me! Take care of Tim for me

Mum: NOO grab onto my hand!

Dad: 3.2.1 haul!!!

Mum: thank the lord you’re here Gerald I love you
