1. Introduction:
This individual report reflects on my contributions to the group project, focusing on my role
in device selection, floor plan design, and cost analysis. It also includes personal reflections
on the project and lessons learned.

I played a crucial role in researching and selecting devices based on their specifications and
compatibility with the building's requirements. Additionally, I contributed to the floor plan
design, ensuring optimal placement of devices for efficient functionality. My involvement in
cost analysis helped in understanding the financial aspects of the project.

While working on the project, one of the challenges was the unexpected high cost of certain
devices, particularly Cisco switches. This necessitated a reassessment of the budget and
consideration of alternative options without compromising performance.

The project taught me the importance of in-depth research and consideration of various
factors, including device complexity and cost. It emphasized the need for a balance between
performance and budget constraints.

devices to ensure a better understanding of the market and potentially identify more cost-
effective solutions. Additionally, regular budget reviews during the planning phase could
help in avoiding budgetary surprises.
