Steps for Easier Generation of BIR Form 2316

Step 1. Download 1604C.xlsx

Do not edit the data anymore.

Step 2. Find all personnel of your school. Then copy and paste it to another Excel file.

Step 3. Save the new file as:

File name: 1604C

Save as type: CSV UTF8 (Comma delimited)

Step 4. After saving, close the document. Then, open it with a notepad or any text editors that you have.
Step 5. Save it as 1604C.dat

Step 6. After saving, open Alphalist Data Entry System.

Step 7. Click Upload DAT File. After, browse and select your 1604C.dat file. Then click Import Now.
Step 8. Update Withholding Agent

Step 9. Update Database in Utilities Menu

Step 10. Click 1604C. Set the year to 2023 then click Add/Update. And that’s it, you are now ready to
print the 2023 BIR Form 2316 for all your personnel.
